I think this is great for beginners it was a little stiff but after swinging it for a bit it loosened very quickly it is a bit heavy but can still do the basic tricks with it. For starting out on using the butterfly knife I would say this is perfect to get a feel for it then you can always buy the vulp when you feel more comfortable. I haven't had lose screws or anything like that with both of them. So seeing other people's comments it might just be a bad batch perhaps as mine have been great. Its a great price and great for beginners.

The balisong itself is good and works as expected however you can clearly see where the metal has been cut and the construction leaves the whole thing shaking when you move it which is not good for balance or consistency. Good for beginniners but if you're looking for extreme quality or a replacement, this is not good for the long run. As a first balisong though, I am satisfied with the product.

the silver one seeming to get stiff after a little time used, the next day it seemed to be fine again. it seems like you need to stop using them for them to work better

My daughter wanted to buy this to practice tricks for butterfly knifes with her friends. It is compact, stylish, works smoothly... and has a safety pin in it. After use, the screws are a little loose. I don't know if this is supposed to happen.
