Came on time and directions were clear. I can tell a bit of difference in my energy for sure.

I absolutely must have this to help with the depression stemming from Hashimoto's thyroiditis. The reason that it helps Hashimoto's depression is because it facilitates conversion of T4 thyroid hormone to T3 thyroid hormone, a vital hormone for human energy and mental well being. I take a tablespoon in water or tea three times daily - 7 a.m., noon, and about 4 p.m. Anything less than that doesn't work. It does cause me to be sluggish and drowsy for about 1.5 hours after I take it, but then I can feel it kick in, and it helps provide energy. I have tried many other OTC depression remedies, but none of them work unless I ALSO take this. This price is the best around, the quality is excellent, and I can't find a bag of ashwaghanda powder like this anywhere in brick and mortar stores. The powder is most effective for me.

I started ashwagandha because of the purported benefits it has, including reduction in stress, increase in vitality, improvement of mood, heart health, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, neuroprotection, and even neurogenesis. I'm taking the lowest dose that shows benefit, 2 grams, and can say it does reduce stress a fair amount, everything else I can't comment on anything else as most of those can't be felt and because I'm taking other herbs and supplements. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it so far, but I can't truthfully state its done more than reduce stress, though I hope it helps with neural activity and heart health. All in all, if you're not taking an adaptogen of some form, this is a good one to take since it has so many benefits, it's also cheap and will last a long time. I love ashwaghanda for anxiety and help with hypertension. I take a lot, so the powder is quite economical. It is quite a bitter herb, so be prepared for that. You can mix it into anything like oatmeal, or in a cup of hot tea and it's ok. I am using a teaspon of the herb mixed into a 12 oz mug of hot tea made with 2 celestial seasonings white tea bags, 2 stevia-in-the-raw packets, and a healthy amount of sweetened vanilla almond milk. Normally I use unsweetened milk for stuff, but the sweetened version helps balance the bitter herb. Just something to try. Anyway, great product, excellent superfine powder of superior quality. Shipped/received within 2 days.

Amazing product as far as what it does as an herb, taste wise using this it is absolutely disgusting and hard to swallow. Ashwagandha is an amazing herb, but I'd personally recommend getting the tincture liquid form because this taste flat out horrible. I'm still giving this 4 stars because it's a great product, it's just hard to get down because how horrible it taste. I originally bought this for hormonal issues but I also found that this is great for helping focus problems like that you would have with ADHD which it works very well for. It will also increase your sex drive because if you don't know already ashwagandha is a type of ginseng. Just like with ginseng you need a means of relieving sexual tension if you want to take it as a supplement. If you want an herb for it's aphrodisiac properties I'd recommend this or maca.

Definitely feel a calming effect and also sleep better and sleep through the night, after taking the Banyan Ashwaganda powder 1/4 tsp each morning. I read about this herbal product in an article about sleep in the Daily Mail newspaper. Apparently there have been studies on it. I feel much more relaxed but in addition to that have more energy too. Some people might think why pay for "organic" on a dried powder but my answer is you can wash pesticides off the unpeeled skin of a piece of fruit, but you cannot wash and rinse a dried powder. So I want mine organic. In any case the product is lasting a long time and giving benefits. I take the smallest recommended dose: 1/4 tsp, one per day. Recommend.

Been using this powder for about 2 months now (1/2 teaspoon) and i must say, i haven't really felt anything from it. One morning my epiphany told me DUH you need black pepper with it😩 I Knew this!😖😣 smh..... I make a Mudwtr latte🤤 every morning, i put other tinctures and powders in it as well, with my agave syrup to sweeten it💣💣.. after finally adding black pepper to it, yes i was chewing the peppers a bit😲 but yes baby, calmness finally. I'm on edge person who gets agitated very easily so this is a must for a person with trauma💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DONT FORGET THE BLACK PEPPER😍
