Works great. Better than expected, honestly. Arrived early too.

It's a little noisy but it's a great addition to any audio engineer's arsenal.It allows you to experiment with unique sounds and get sounds that would simply not be possible in certain environments.

Sounds and works great, just clip it to the headstock of your plucked string instrument (guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, etc.), plug it in, and you have an electric instrument!

Connected easily and sounded ok

I really wanted to love this - but the one I received had a short in the wire / cable. I could only get sound intermittently with the one I received - it required me to wiggle the cable to just the right spot to get sound - of course the wiggle was accompanied by the tell-tale crackly noise & intermittent sound characteristic of a short in the cable. I am unable to use this & don't want to bother driving to a UPS store to return it - so this went directly into the garbage... BTW, when I was able to get sound - it was best described as "sound" - nothing overwhelming - just amplified sound of my tenor uke... not the best - not the worst, personally, I wouldn't use it alone (even enhanced through a good mixer) in a performance. So if I'm not willing to use it even if it worked this device earns one star (zero if I could) !!!

I use this on some string instruments that I have and it works well.

I didn't know what to do with this thing at first, no instructions...NADA, so I checked out You Tube and there you go...what an awesome little gadget, I don't know why anyone would complain about it...it's a clip on pickup, like a clip on tie, you can't complain about it, your the one that put it on...anyway...I love it and I recommend it for anyone who just wants to get a little louder.
