Nice high quality scope with excellent low light optics.
This is my first Tijicon scope. So far I am very impressed. The glass is on par with my Leupold VX-5HD. The Trijicon has much better turrets. The reticle is daylight bright and very clear. One nice thing about the reticle also is that it very clearly tells you while looking through the scope what MOA the hash marks are at four different magnifications. The parallax adjustment goes all the way down to 10 yards which is awesome. Only downfall that I have found is that when resetting the turrets to zero you have to be careful not to move the turrets from your sighted in aim point. Other than that, very nice scope with very nice features. I would buy another one of these before I bought another VX-5 HD.

Red BDC Hunter Hold is Daylight Bright
If you are buying the BDC Hunter Hold reticle and care about daylight brightness, get the red version instead of the green. The green dot brightness on level 10 is like level 7 on the red, which is daylight visible but not daylight bright. The red at 8 is daylight bright! I can’t imagine any time you would need to use level 10 on the red HX. Without even looking through the scope, you can tell the green version is underpowered by looking at the specs and the battery hours for each version, which is measured on level 7 brightness for each. On the Trijicon website, it says the green lasts for 198 hours, and the red lasts for 68 hours. I don’t know why Trijicon can get the red version Aimpoint bright, but they can’t get the green version Holosun bright.Note that there are many reviews out there for the non-HX version of the Credo, which report it is not daylight bright. This is because the non-HX Credo has a larger illuminated reticule instead of a small dot, and it is limited in power by the CR2032 battery.Overall, the Credo HX 1-6 is an excellent scope with quality glass (Japan). It has better glass than the Vortex PST Gen II (Philippines), which is currently the cheapest daylight bright LPVO available. The Credo HX has very little scope body seen when looking through it, and it is similar to the Vortex Razor Gen II in that regard. The Razor has a slightly larger field of view, but it is also almost twice the price. The only real competition to the Trijicon is the Delta Stryker (likely made in the same factory in Japan to the specs requested by each company). IMO, choose which one you get based on your reticle preference. Since this is a low-power optic, I do not plan on shooting this long range, so I prefer BDC hash marks instead of mils which is why I went with the Trijicon. It’s also a bonus that Trijicon is a US company!

Extreme clarity at a good price
Really like how clear this scope is and how good the light transmission is. Edge clarity is wonderful. Seems to be pretty true 1X as well.My biggest complaint is reticle brightness. At level "1" in a pitch black room I can't even see the reticle. Not daylight bright at level 10 but not a big deal.

Crystal clear glass
Awesome scope not heavy for its size. Eye relief is perfect. And this glass is comparable to my dads shmidt bender. I got the 2.5-10x56 with the duplex reticle. The lines are thin but once you illuminate them then they are perfect. You can tell it is built to last in Japan and not china.

Good product but poor packing by vendor
Good scope but poor packing, it was just the box within the box. The out box took the puncture, there was not packing material within the box but the scope box protected the scope.

Crisp, Clear, Bright, Precise
Excellent scope. I had a vortex razor on my xbolt and just wasn't happy with it. This scope absolutely blows it out of the water. It is everything I wanted, and more. The lighted reticle is super handy at dusk, and so is the huge objective lens. I shot a nice 8pt buck a couple weeks about 3 minutes before end of shooting hours and it looked clear as day in the scope. If I could afford it I'd buy a few more. This is a classic case of "you get what you pay for".
