I had an open abdominal surgery and during a follow-up appointment, my surgeon told me to start putting this on my incision twice a day. It worked wonders! I used a qtip to apply along the incision line. It was just thick enough to stay in place. My skin softened and healed so quickly!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This oil is the best thing. It’s moisturizing and leaves my skin extra soft. It’s lightweight and really has helped with having no wrinkles. It’s the only one I use. Caution when used for traveling, package well! It opens easily

Very thick, great and normal coloration, great to add to skin care products.

Took one star off due to the scent. It's not very strong but feels a bit off when applying this oil. I'd say it smells like a vitamin :) so shouldn't really complain. Besides the scent, the oil is OK. I usually mix it with lotion or a few drops of water to give it a more spreadable consistency. Haven't had any irritation or other problems.

I purchased this for personal every other day use to replace New brand which was sold out. It is not as good, the fragrance is total sunflower which is somewhat offensive in strength, this should be called Sunflower moisturizer. New brand vitamin E oil was barely scented but it had a slight vitamin smell to be fair but not offensively obvious like this one. This sunflower oil is residual, I can only use it in the shower after soaping everything, the shower floor is slick afterward so beware. Then I rinse off excess with very warm water and towel dry. This gets rid of most sunflower scent so you can be confident it’s in your skin not on your skin. Maybe this is a good base for a custom scented moisturizer. I can also see this as very useful after a day at the beach chilling out, mixing it with aloe. Other than that save it for when you are stranded on a desert island, because it gets on everything if your not careful. Overall it does what it says but I will be experimenting to mix in a scent to overpower the sunflower.
