I thought the ink pad worked great especially for how inexpensive it is. I took a picture of what it looks like when I first opened the ink pad and then when I used it in my index finger. I took some practice prints and they’re all front that one finger dip into the pad (I numbered it with 1 being the first try and 12 being the last print I was able to do). The second finger picture is what my finger looked like after my practice prints and third finger pic is what my finger looked like after I washed my hands. The ink was fairly easy to wash off and only left maybe the slightest stain if I really look at my finger. Overall I would recommend buying this product!

Anyways, this is a good ink pad. It has an almost oil like consistency which is much better than a water like one. It also keeps you from getting too much ink on your hands so that you done ruin your fingerprint card...it sucks to get it almost filled out and you get so much ink on your finger that it seeps between the ridges and you can't make out the lines between the deltas! Bottom line: If you are making fingerprint cards for the alphabet boys, look no more--these are what you need.

The pads are inexpensive which I love but they do not wipe off the finger easily. The picture is after I tried to scrub the ink off with a disinfecting wipe for about a minute. After taking a thumb print the thumb was still black. I'm hoping I don't get a lot of negative feedback during appointments from people about this not wiping clean. I wish I hadn't ordered multiples. It does leave a wonderful print though.

this is a really good purchase, i bought this for school and it works great, there is a great amount of ink in each container. and at the time of removal all you need is soap.

I just became a notary and found out that sometimes I'll need to fingerprint people, so I purchased these. The ink is perfect! It doesn't feel thick or oily. You don't have to press really hard on the pad either, and the impressions came out great with little effort as well. It dries on paper pretty much instantly, but not so quickly on your fingertips, which is great if multiple impressions are needed for the same finger. I didn't even have to wash my hands to clean the ink completely off. A simple wet wipe was enough to easily clean the ink off all my fingers.
