Coconut Conditioner - 8 fl oz - Nourishing for dry hair, smooth frizz and restore moisture and shine with Organic Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and Sunflower Oil

I recently purchased the Desert Essence Coconut Body Wash, Coconut Shampoo and Coconut Conditioner on Amazon.com. My husband and I have used other Desert Essence products before and loved them (Tea Tree Blemish Stick- amazing on insect bites and Tea Tree Deodorant which works as well as any deodorant/anti-perspirant with loads of nasty chemicals in it) We have been big fans of coconut-smelling products for a while but I have often shied away, as a lot of them smell very sickly sweet. No one wants to end up smelling like a cupcake or a pina colada! Not so with these! We love love love all three and the smell is subtle and not sweet or overpowering. I have long hair and wash it nearly every day (terrible I know) and the shampoo and conditioner keeps my mane glossy and hydrated. I get little hints of coconut now and then throughout the day but I like that- I live in NYC and having clean smelling hair by the end of the day can be tricky. The body wash has a nice consistency and my husband loves using it. He works on construction sites in all weathers and it doesn't irritate or dry out his skin. Nice packaging- you absolutely get your money's worth with 8fl oz. and as I said, we use them nearly every day and a little goes a long way. When I purchased all three they each had a slightly different label so there as been no confusion during those early morning, bleary-eyed showers! The MASSIVE plus for me with these products is that in addition to using sustainable, organic ingredients, neither the finished product NOR the raw ingredients are tested on animals or contain animal by-products. They are vegan. They are also gluten free and have no nasties (phosphates etc) in them. Plus it is a small American company...let's support them! Highly Recommended.

I can’t believe how my hair went from dry brittle uncontrollable, to soft, fuller and very manageable. I will definitely purchase this shampoo and conditioner again.

Just happened upon this product, and based on all the good and lack of bad ingredients, I purchased it. I have tried many natural products, including making my own, and I love this the best. For my curly, porous hispanic hair, this conditioner is perfect. I use it after my mud wash, or on its own as a co-wash, and I usually do not fully rinse out, so it is also my leave-in rinse! I'm a big fan of coconut oil for everything, so this product has great appeal to me. Due to the coconut oil, it is an outstanding moisturizer, and yet it has the absorption and non-coating qualities I look for. Hair is soft and moist after using this, without feeling gunky or limp. It also smells wonderful but not over-bearing. For reference, I have tried the very expensive 100% Natural brand coconut and the lavender conditioners (bit too heavy) and Aubrey Organics honeysuckle rose (tad too light but I appreciate the absorbing non-coating

I've been looking for a protein-free conditioner that was also Curly Girl-friendly (meaning that I don't use silicones or sulfates on my hair), and this was one of the few products that came up in my hunt for a daily conditioner. I've used Desert Essences hand lotions in the past and have really liked them, so I was eager to try out the Coconut Conditioner. It has a great coconut scent, and rinses out easily. It isn't quite as moisturizing as I had hoped for, though, and my hair doesn't feel as soft and conditioned afterwards as it does with other products. I do like it, though, and will definitely re-purchase it! I recommend it as a good daily conditioner.

This conditioner is very nurturing for your scalp and makes hair soft. The sent is very strong and not for hair that runs dry.

I have been using this along with the shampoo for many years. The quality is always consistent. It smells so good, performs well and has healthy hair ingredients. Bonus, it's gluten free

Good ingredients

Este suavizante es buenísimo. No tiene parabenos, sulfatos, siliconas, derivados del petróleo... Es vegano y no está testado en animales. Huele genial y cunde muchísimo. Lo aconsejable es usar muy poco producto de medio a puntas tras usar el champú de su misma gama. El pelo mejora enormente tras meses de uso si se eliminan todas las sustancias dañinas para el cabello. Puede parecer caro, pero lo dicho, echando muy poco cunde muchísimo. Te puede durar varios meses. Indicado para pelo seco. Deja del pelo muy hidratado, brillante y bonito. Con paciencia y meses el pelo mejora muchísimo. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Cela fait plusieurs années que je l'utilise, après un shampoing bio qui n'est pas de la même marque, et j'en suis très satisfaite. J'ai les cheveux fins mais j'en ai une grande quantité et ils sont longs et frisés. Pendant le shampoing ils s'emmêlent très vite et avec cet après shampoing, le démêlage est instantané ! C'est impressionnant ! De plus, il se rince très facilement et n'alourdit pas le cheveux, tout en laissant une merveilleuse et légère odeur de coco. Le seul problème que j'ai avec cet après shampoing c'est qu'il est régulièrement en rupture ! En espérant que cela soit résolu très vite :-)
