These shoulder pads are soft, lightweight, and easy to sew into blazers or tops. They add just enough structure to improve the shape of a garment without looking bulky or stiff. These are perfect 1/4 inch thick which is perfect for shaping shoulders in dresses and tops. If I am in a rush and need thicker shoulder pads, they can be doubled up. What I like about these is: 1) they are tapered at the corners and edges, 2) they are gently molded to fit over the shoulder, 3) neatly and evenly stitched, 4) for Easter of use they are covered in a thin knitted fabric, and 5) they they are grouped and packaged in pairs. If you look carefully you will notice that the back of the pad is more tapered than the front. I've permanently attached these my inexpensive garments, giving them a better fit and the look of more expensive garments. Tip: Before permanently tacking to garments at the shoulders and armholes, I add some loose "pad stitching" to secure the original covering or matching fabric covering to the foam base. These appear to be durable , holding up through laundering. These pads are value priced when purchased in bulk. You'll be surprised how quickly you can use these up when you notice how much more attractive and comfortable your clothes are. Shoulder pads can disguise a number of physical defects like sloped shoulders. As a professional tailor I've used shoulder pads to undergarments and linings at waistlines, hips, bustlines to better fit and to disguise uneven body areas.

these shoulder pads are cheaply made and very thin. I prefer to sew shoulder pads into my tops instead of attaching to my bra. I will need two sewed together in place in order to get the look best for me. The fabric is so poor I doubt they will hold up after dry cleaning. They were stuffed into small plastic bags and as a result are all crumpled. I will have to iron them before I use-not sure they will withstand the heat (even low heat) of an iron? The price was the temptation. Now I will have to resort again to the more expensive shoulder pads which have no selection of color.

Got these because they were one of the only options on amazon that were sew-in, and the quality is super disappointing. The foam is not uniform between different pads, they feel like they’re different sizes, half of them are completely bent and creased because of the packaging, and the serge is unraveling on almost all of the corners. But they were cheap and look better than the other amazon options so i can’t be too mad

Great pads but they were not right for me. Reordered.

These are the perfect size, not too big but enough to help my shirts fall perfectly. They last a long time, longer than the garment! There is no adhesive, but I just safety pin them in my shirt. Very easy to use!
