Works just like the original
I highly recommend this gadget. With everything running on USB cable it is easy to lose one that is specifically designed for a unit. There are so many kind of connectors one cannot remember where one is at the moment when it's needed. So obviously I lost this one which fits my Panasonic camera. And of course it is a proprietary plug. Nice to have this one of offer from Amazon.com. Works great and now I am back in business.

Works for charging a Lumix camera.
I bought a used Lumix digital camera and it came with the wrong size USB cable so there was no way to charge the battery in the camera. This is the correct cable to use to supply power from a USB charger to the Lumix camera. I did not know this type of USB connector existed. It's always something. I hope I now have every size & type of USB cable made.

Excellent USB Cable for Panasonic ZS40 and others
I like this cable a lot. It is very flexible and a little longer than normal. Good workmanship. I bought a used Panasonic ZS40 and they sent a standard micro USB cable. This is the one that fits. Smaller size.

Doesn’t fit
This is listed as working with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3, however it does not fit. It is too large. I guess I’ll keep it, as it may fit other cameras.

It was exactly what I needed in order to transfer photos from my Panasonic FZ200 camera to my computer using the USB port on my computer. I lost my transfer cable that came with the camera while I was on vacation.

Charging works but the data transfer didn't. With my damaged old cable, I was still able when holding it at a certain angle, but not at all with this new cable.
