Lightweight with beautiful drape
Enjoyed the hand of this sport weight yarn, and the finished work is beautiful for a baby blanket or any blanket. I’ve used a size I hook and found this yarn nice to crochet with since the plies don’t split or shed, and the big skein means fewer ends to weave in.

Soft and Doesn't Split
I adore working with this yarn. A small hook usually ends up splitting yarn of this gauge, but not this one. It works up quickly and easily-- and I use this color for "flesh" for the many dolls I crochet.

Sturdt, but not soft, great yarn though.
The only reason I didn't give this a full five stars is because it really isn't as soft as baby yarn should be . honestly I was a bit disappointed in Bernat for this, but not enough to stop buying their products all together. If you're looking for a sturdy yarn this is your yarn. If you're looking for a soft baby yarn, choose another Bernat yarn, because this is not baby soft.

Good Yarn, Great Price
This is enough yarn to make a lacey layette set or a baby blanket. I am making a shawl with it. I noticed reviewers complaining about how thin the yarn is. It is size 3, aka DK, aka sport weight. It is supposed to be thinner than worsted-weight yarn. It is for light garments or blankets. I think lace patterns look better in it. If it isn't soft enough for you, wash the item before using it. It will be just as soft as things made with "soft" yarns, only it will wear better and last longer, in my opinion.

I've been using this brand of yarn for years. It's a very strong yarn. Your projects can be machine washed & dried. I would highly recommend this for your projects.

Can make one baby blanket with this jumbo ball of yarn! Not too soft while working with it but once washed it’s very soft and stands up well with frequent washing that’s necessary with babies
