Great product, works great!

If you want that antenna that works do not buy this one I went from 142 to the one 47 megahertz scale and got everything from a 2.5 on the low end of the spectrum and a 8.0 on the top end of the spectrum swr's.

While the antenna works great, it required doing soldering and building it. Be sure you want the KIT if you want to DIY. Otherwise, buy the completed antenna.

Never could get SWR lower than 2.5:1. Couldn’t hit repeaters I can hit with a Mag-Mount down low at 7 ft with this antenna up 50 ft.

I never left a 1 star review on a product before. This simply does not work. After transmit performance proved to be worse than on both my Baofeng and Yeasu FT3D rubber duck antennas, two SWR meters showed only 2 watt output max, with a best achieved 4.5 SWR. It did increase my recieve over stock atennna. I also tried the antenna on my 991A on 5w, and got the an SWR warning and about a 5 SWR. HTs on the same jumpers and meters did a full 5 watts and a 1.2 SWR on my Rooftop 2 meter antenna. I really wanted to prove myself wrong because I wanted this Jpole to work for SOTA activations. In my experience, not only is it ineffective, but it is likely to ruin your radio.
