Update: I bought this originally because I needed tummy control after 2 pregnancies. I definitely recommend sizing up. The small was so tight it made me sick one night and I had to take it off. The medium fit perfectly. I was a size 6 in jeans typically. It does roll up too high like most things but I'm able to keep it just below my bra, or tuck my bra over it. As of 2022 I had a tummy tuck and I'm still wearing the one I bought in 2016 for after-surgery care. I was originally wearing a medical binder but after a month I got to switch to the Spanx. I've been wearing and washing it daily and it's held up great. It's been nice during the summer so although it is a second layer under a dress or shirt/jeans, it's easily the lightest version you're going to find. I'm a solid size 4 now and the medium is still the best. This has been a great purchase!

These spanks "Sculpt" - which means they are lighter material and don't shape as much as the regular spanks 'power' shorts. They are definitely more comfortable and obviously smooth out your bulges from hips to the rib cage. But they are not really going to hold anything in. The only issue I had was the top band and rubberize strip were very narrow and have a tendency to roll down (which may be seen under a tight blouse/top). Would be nice if this band was wider.

I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these are! They offer great tummy control without feeling restrictive, and the seamless design means no awkward lines under clothes. I wore them all day and forgot I even had them on—which says a lot for shapewear. The high waist stays in place and gives a smooth, flattering silhouette. Perfect for everyday wear or special occasions.

This is my first Amazon review ever. After receiving not one but two defunct orders, I feel compelled to review. I ordered this Spanx panty first in black. Regrettably, I waited until the day I needed to wear it before opening my Amazon package. The item had clearly been repackaged (poorly, at that) and was even USED!! The telltale marks in the crotch grossed me out to no end; however, being that I needed them and had no time to go get a substitute I washed them twice. I put them on and ultimately was pleased with the coverage and support the product offered. However, I was stunned that as I was hoisting them back up after a bathroom break that they ripped!! I thought these things were supposed to be practically indestructible! I was sooooo disappointed, especially after the initial issues. I tried again thinking maybe the first time was a fluke and ordered the same panty in nude. Package arrived new this time, and again, coverage and support were satisfactory. After one wear and one wash the elastic stitching has already started to unravel (see pic.) I’m so aggravated. Spanx has been billed for the longest as quality shapewear and yet the first 2 times I tried their product (or ANY shapewear product, for that matter) the quality was complete garbage. Disappointed I paid what I did for these panties and will definitely NOT be purchasing again in the future.

Looked perfect with a bridesmaid dress! Very comfortable will wear again and reorder. Loved it didn’t roll down and the fit was perfect!

I got a medium at first because for my measurements, I fell right in the middle. Tried on the Medium, it was actually painful to put on, and would roll down and cause more pain. It looked nice but could never last for a day outside. Returned that size and got a Large, it shapes me less well in my opinion and it STILL rolls down. The only thing that fixes it is if I wear a bra with it. If I size up again, I fear the shapewear won’t be doing much shaping at all. The positives, the fabric is high quality, I had long nails and was wrestling with my pairs of Spanx for a very long time. No rips. And despite the troubles of keeping it on, it does look good. I am still so frustrated that it rolls down on its own and there is no way to get around it without wearing a bra. If i try to wear it halfway, it just splits my stomach into two halves. Absolutely awful. But I don’t have time to wait for another product to come in the mail so I’ll deal.

Poor quality wrong size

If you are wanting tighter control I would definatley go down a size. However these are good quality, super soft and very comfortable for everyday control

Keeps rolling down. barely smoothens muffin top let alone flatten..for reference im a UK size 6-8 with a muffin top post baby..so id expect some result...
