Hamilton Beach French Press with Frothing Attachment for Coffee, Hot Chocolate or Tea, 1 Liter, Glass (40400R)

i bought this product to replace an broken one that was well used and well loved. this product so far has delivered beyond my expectations. it comes with a frother for chocolate milk and hot cocoa as well as the press for your coffee. so far the quality and functionality of this product is great!

I’ll only use this model. Size, ease of use, durability, all far surpass other fancier french presses. Tried stainless steel once, it was 40$ and the coffee tasted metallic. Doesn’t take much longer than drip coffee makers, just have to boil water, dump it in, stir, i personally wait 4 min, press, and its the best coffee i’ve ever had in my life. I just drank some and i’m wired enough at 6:30 am to write a review.

This is a decent press for the price; if I could splurge a little more I’d get one that is glass and metal, rather than glass and a plastic because they just look nicer. It’s easy enough to use. However there is a rubber ring that goes around one of the filter/press pieces, and it’s very difficult to get on. I have chosen to just leave it off. Also this can make 30 is of coffee; I thought no most French presses are smaller.

Great value for your money compared with to other on the market all the part a well made so it should last & its easy to use

First use out of box and I am left with coffee bean soup. I did not scrub the filter or do anything besides rinse the product with soapy hot water for ~10 minutes prior to use. No pressing on the wire filter because this is not my first french press and I didn't want to break it.As you can see from the lines on the glass...it doesn't filter anything. I tried 3 times thinking maybe I left something on top of the filter somehow and they all turned out like this. Not visible in the picture is that coffee grounds line the top of the glass along these lines. In the cup you can only see what was left floating...there's more if you scoop along the bottom and stir. This is completely undrinkable unless I wanted coffee ground soup for breakfast or to filter my already pressed coffee again.Returning for my money back and seriously questioning the quality of Hamilton Beach products after this purchase.

Love this French press as I can make 4 cups in one go. Wish glass could be little beefier it looks fragile.

I really liked the idea if coffee,coco, and tea. However the design is faulty. The plunger and mesh do not go to the bottom of the glass. So the amount of water that is pressed might not fill the cup, and leaves wasted water behind.

It exceeded my expectations. Sturdy, steady, hefty, well-balanced. The handle is strong and attached, not partial like some.How can you love a coffee press? But every morning I look forward to my large cup of coffee excellently brewed in this press. Don't hesitate to get this one, really, I haven't regretted it yet and its been about a month. As an added bonus it makes the real hot cocoa by foaming it. It comes with an extra plunger designed to agitate. I haven't used it yet but design looks good.

Me gusta mucho ,es muy práctica

Eu havia ganhado uma outra french press, bem mais simples, sem marca, que quebrou na segunda vez que usei. Como na mesma ocasião ganhei o moedor de grãos da Hamilton (que por sinal é ótimo) eu decidi pesquisar aqui e achei a french press deles, que considerei ter o melhor custo benefício, ainda mais se comparado a outras marcas mais caras. Ela é bonita, resistente, prática, considero grande porque comprei apenas para meu uso e eventualmente eu a uso para o café em família (atentem-se ao tamanho quando forem escolher, essa é de 1L) e ainda é fácil de limpar. Acredito que seja meio nítido que ela não é térmica porque é de vidro, mas para quem tem dúvidas, não, ela não segura bem o calor, serve para fazer o café e então tomá-lo ou guardá-lo numa térmica própria. Ela vem desmontada, com manual de instrução de montagem e de como preparar o café também. A montagem e desmontagem são muito simples, e para lavar precisar desmontar a parte que empurra o café para baixo (são três peças arredondadas e o "cabo" que encaixa na tampa, todos de metal, exceto a tampa). Não recomendo usar a parte verde da esponja nela porque pode arranhar as partes de plástico que ela tem, também friso a recomendação de não colocá-la sobre uma superfície fria/gelada quando for usar para evitar um possível choque térmico que partiria o vidro. Eu, por exemplo, sempre coloco uma toalha de cozinha quando a uso na pia e não no balcão ou na mesa. No mais eu a uso apenas para café, então sobre o "trequinho" de fazer chocolate quente que também vem e basicamente é igual ao cabo do "trequinho" de empurrar o café para baixo, mas em espiral, eu nunca usei para opinar se é bom ou não, quem souber favor comentar. Recomendo.

Hamilton Beach não tem erro. A cafeteira é de ótima qualidade, mas é bem grande e não fica muito bonita na mesa. Como moro sozinha acabei comprando outra menor, mas essa é uma ótima escolha para uma família grande.
