I bought an Octowand and it did not come with a stand to keep the barrel off of my counter. This inexpensive mat did the trick. It works perfectly. I was concerned that it would melt with the heat of my wand, but not to worry, it is safe and sturdy!!

This mat is great to prevent burning your area where you lay your hot irons down while doing your hair. Since I’ve used it a couple of times it doesn’t get hot nor does it melt. It’s light weight, bright pink color & easy to store & use.
