Great. Immersion read.

I BEGAN READING SERIOUSLY IN 1939-40 WHEN I WAS PUT IN SCHOOL LIBRARY FOR A MONTH ALONE. BEGAN LIFE LONG HABIT AT ONE TIME IN CONTEST FOR NUMBER OF BOOKS READ IN SIX WEEKS PERIODS. WHEN CRITICIZED BY ANOTHER READER AS TO LENGTH OF MY BOOKS, LOOKED FOR LONGEST BOOKS IN OUR CARNEGIE LIBRARY. BUT I WAS AWED WHEN MY GRAND DAUGHTER RECOMMENDED KEN FOLLET AND I ORDERED THIS SERIES. THE SERIES ADDS UP TO 3000+ PAGES AND IT IS SMALLISH TYPE. WOULD SEEM A LIFE LONG PROJECT? FOLLET IS EXCELLENT PROSE STYLIST. PLOT IS ENGROSSING. BEGIN WHEN YOU ARE 10 OR SO, CAN FINISH BEFORE YOU GRADUATE? OR BECOME SWIFTY READER.

I’ve read each of the books in this set over the years when they came out and loved them. Epic stories and wonderful characters. Loved the idea of owning the set and re-reading them before I read the newest installment in the series. Great way to learn some history, too!

I ordered three books, the Kingsbridge series by Ken Follett. They arrived at the time I expected them to and in excellent condition.

If you love historical fiction, these are great books. I have already read these books and bought as a gift for my daughter.

It was ok but not terrific.

Good price, can't wait to read!
