Superb Olive Oil, Love the Bag in Box
The Oilala Coratina is an excellent olive oil with a fresh, fruity flavor and a strong peppery finish. It was a Gold Medal winner in the 2022 NYIOOC competition. It has the highest polyphenol level of all olive oils I have tried, 749 in the one I received, and a healthy 752 in their latest harvest. The polyphenol level changes on every harvest, but Oilala shows it in one of their pictures, the one with the chart. I've also tried the Oilala Peranzana, which is also excellent but quite a bit lower in polyphenol level, 433 in the one I received, still much higher than most olive oils. If you find the Coratina to be too strong, the Peranzana is a good option. If you use a lot of olive oil, as I do, the 5-liter size is a bargain compared to the small bottles. You get 10 times as much olive oil for 3 times the price. I really like the bag in a box, which I've now used in 4 different brands of olive oil. The heavy-duty bag is food grade and perfectly safe. There is a small perforation near the bottom of the box, from which you pull the spout out and fit it solidly against the box. There is a removable tab on the spout that you pull off and dispose of for first use. I have a 2-level kitchen island, so I place the box on the top level with an olive oil bottle lined up underneath the spout (I included a photo of this, but the box in the photo is from the Peranzana rather than the Coratina). Then simply lift up the tabs on the spout (using 2 fingers, one on each side of the spout) and the oil is dispensed into the bottle with no spillage and no subsequent drips. As the olive oil is removed from the food grade bag, it compresses in on itself, so that the remaining olive oil is not exposed to air. With no exposure to oxygen or light, the olive oil stays fresher. I've purchased many of the bags in a box olive oils over the years, and it is a big selling point for me. If given the choice between a bag in a box and a tin can, I would always choose the bag in a box.

Checks all the Boxes
This is a very high quality Extra Virgin Olive oil, the taste is balanced and smooth (slight fruity/grassy) with a strong peppery after taste, these are hallmarks of a high quality olive oil. This olive oil is high in phenolic acids. I use this olive oil strictly as a health aid. I drink a small amount when I first get up in the morning. It's a great way to protect your heart, reduce and prevent inflammation and protects you from bad LDL cholesterol. Additionally, you get a lot of olive oil for your dollars, slightly over a gallon. I highly recommend this olive oil for anyone who is concerned about staying healthy and preventing heart disease.

Oilala, 2022/23 harvest! Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coratina, Gold Medal NYIOOC 2022
I love this EVOO oil, it’s is different all other olive oils. The robust flavor and peppery finish is exactly what I’m looking for. I do agree w/ all 5 star reviews. I especially like the box and the look of the box. I have traditionally received tins, but the box is easy to pour. I have had Greek, Turkey, Moroccan olive oils and this is my favorite for flavor and polyphenols.

**WHAT IS MISSING**
- Upfront, the oil has unique fragrance and character, but the oil is bitter! To me, it feels like the olives were harvested early. I solved the bitterness by adding Himalayan Pink salt to a dish of olive oil used for dipping bread, or, drinking an ounce of the oil. - I believe there are numerous polyphenols in the olive oil. You will especially notate that feeling when you drink an ounce of the olive oil. - Will I buy it again!...MAYBE! I bought the 5L carton this time. The price is above my level of money that I want to spend on Extra Virgin Olive oil. - The health benefits are a flirting rumor in my mind. Although, using olive oil in place of butter, even Irish grass fed butter, is far better option for one's health, in my opinion. BUT, do you need to spend alot of $$$$ for it when Greek or Crete oil is a good compromise in price and flavor....DP.

OILALA OLIVE OIL IS THE BEST FOR HEART HEALTH AND MORE.
First I want to tell you about Naz. There was a problem with my order. Naz took care of it immediately. He is very fair and goes the extra mile, to make sure you are 100% satisfied. I will continue to order Oilala Olive Oil from Naz. I learned that Olive Oil is recommended for great health. Not any olive oil. The best olive oil is made from green olives. Oilala Olive Oil has the highest level of polyphenols and supports my heart health and much more. I drink one tablespoon of Olive Oil daily for excellent health. The taste is stronger and that is how I know it has high levels of polyphenols. Google polyphenols and discover how it benefits your health. Naz is committed to excellent customer care and that is the kind of company I am happy to do business with. K.Lee

Sooo goood!!!
Very fresh olive flavor. Earthy, slight floral bouquet, with a peppery finish. High quality extra virgin olive oil that I’ll use for any and everything! Very pleased with this purchase. From the 2020/2021 season. A fine vintage. If only it aged like wine. Gotta use it up quickly( not a problem because I’ll use it for everything I cook and then some because it literally taste that good). Probably just use bread to soak up the oil and nosh on it all day everyday.

Really good olive oil
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I really love this product and the fact that the oil was in a plastic pouch in a box and is not exposed to light. Having the spout at the bottom is genius. It makes dispensing the oil so much easier. I am disappointed this product is not longer available. If there is any way of bringing it back, that would be great.
