I loved the clock when I first saw it photo, and also the notion of ‚gentle ticking‘. Now, the clock looks lovely in its place allocated and it works perfectly well, but there is no ‚ticking‘ at all. It stays silent. I prefer ‚noisy‘ clocks, ‚moving‘ clocks with pendulums or rotating parts, and I feel disappointed because of it being a silent clock which I did not wish to buy. But I dread the trouble of sending it back, so there it is

The Cyrus wall clock arrived in a well packed box and the photos on Amazon do not do it justice. The clock is made from good quality materials with a solid wooden back panel and glass front and it looks superb mounted on the wall. The pendulum action is very smooth and the clock is completely silent. This clock is available from a number of online stores but the best deal by far is on Amazon. (Late November 2021) Purchased from Deane clocks who also provided me with first class customer service.

Excellent product, I would buy it again.

This is a beautiful clock. Very quiet, no noticeable ticking. I do agree with all of the other reviews it is hard to read the clock in certain lights. The silver numerals on the face do not show up well. I have considered painting the number black, but all the rest of the clock is silver, so I have left it alone. As I first said it is beautiful just the way it is.

WE FOUND THAT LOOKING AT THE CLOCK ON THE SITE IT WAS LARGER THAN WHAT WE RECIEVED,SO WE ARE NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ITS SIZE. Garth
