5 Star Cordless Senior Clipper, Precision Fade Blades, Metal Housing, 80-Minute Run Time

I was a little worried after reading the reviews but I am extremely happy with my purchase of the cordless wahl Senior I can tell you with great confidence that my tool arrived very quickly and brand new in great condition, no hair clippings or fingerprints to speak of. Also this tool is a geniune wahl product and is the latest version available. The only downside was this was the south or Central American version that I received (I’m in the United States) they sent me a plug that is Used in South America, however they did send me a U.S. adapter that is not a wahl product. I don’t use it because it’s quite cumbersome and I have quite a few Wahl chargers anyhow. If this is your only Wahl tool be mindful if you are in the U.S. you may get the incorrect charger. However, for the price you saved buying here I still recommend purchasing it. As far as a performance, it’s excellent. The weight feels really premium and well made. The blade is sharp but not sharp enough to cut skin. It is extremely powerful and cut through large amounts of hair, wet or dry clean or dirty. And has a pleasant sound. The attachments are useful I really enjoyed the white comb, and the premium guards.

This review is for others like me, who cut their own hair and their family's hair. I've been cutting my own hair with clippers for decades and I've owned several different models, all of which were consumer grade machines, not professional grade----UNTIL THIS ONE. I did a ton of research before I bought this one and I can't tell you how pleased I am with the performance. Among barbers and hair stylists, the Wahl Senior is universally recognized as one of the best clippers in existence and I wish I'd bought this thing 30 years ago (if it had existed.) I should have spent the money for professional clippers a long time ago. I am literally looking better now with this device and it's a pleasure to use. No more fighting the stiff cord of my previous clippers! Keep in mind that this clipper is made for professionals, so you will probably have to adjust the blade if it's not perfectly aligned (mine wasn't.) Also, if you want it to be "zero gapped" (where it cuts very close to the skin) you will have to make that adjustment too. There are several good videos on the internet showing you how, but the basic idea is that you loosen one screw very slightly (like a quarter turn) and adjust that side, then tighten it back and do the other side.

My barber moved so I started cutting my own hair and these clippers have been perfect. The cordless design is convenient and the 80-minute run time is more than enough. Blades work smoothly and give a good clean cut. Build quality feels solid with the metal housing. Product matched the description and I'm really happy with them. Would recommend if you're looking to cut your own hair.

So, I was expecting the worse given the fact that most of the reviews are saying that the item is heavily used or is missing parts. When my package arrived, it's true... it's not brand new as I can see fingerprints all over but that's really it. All the accessories were included and wrapped in their original packaging because the seal wasn't broken. I took the blades off to see if my unit was used and there was not one single strand of hair. Trust me, if you used it once, you'd see hair fragments in the grease and all the nooks and crannies. Looks like the person who bought mine previously didn't even use it so I guess I got lucky? Anyhow, this is new enough to me so I'll be keeping it. Maybe you'll get 'lucky' too? For the clipper itself, dude, it's pretty awesome. Noise level is low, cuts super sharp, removes bulky hair like there's no tomorrow, and just overall feels good in the hand. I've been cutting hair for 20+ years by myself with a cord and now I can't live without a cordless clipper. Game changer for sure! Sure, I wish it was completely brand new as this is not a cheap piece of equipment. However, given the fact that this unit is hard to find in other stores and people are buying clippers like it's toilet paper due to Covid, I'm ok with my purchase. Dropped a star because it wasn't truly brand new (e.g. had fingerprints, was missing wrapper around on/off switch).

Buy this and stop buying the Costco ones unreal heavy duty quality. Worth every penny

Used it for 2 years, yesterday they wouldn't turn off while I was mid haircut switching guards. Now they don’t turn back on. 2 years for 200 dollars is a bad deal
