pretty nice helmet overall. fit as size chart had stated. solid build. very lightweight. comfortable. nice ventilation. it also just has a nice look to it. i believe it had a 3 star rating from the Virginia tech helmet testing labs. so i mean its not horrible or super great apparently. hopefully you won’t ever need to find out how protective the helmet is but feels like it’d hold together quite nicely. straps are easily adjustable, and it’s nice having the dial on the back to get that exact fit you want.

It's very well made as described. It did run a bit smaller, which shouldn't be so surprising because the sizes places me into an "in-between" category. I'm happy that I did choose the size down instead of going up, it gave a snug fit with a little room left to wear a hood or cap underneath. The shell is shiny and lightweight, rides well around my head without that "perched turtle" look I've seen on other brands. It's not bulky or blocky at all, I really like this helmet, quite happy with this purchase.

I give this helmet 4 stars for comfort. The looks aren't the prettiest especially with this off-white/gray color that I got. Why did I get this color? Because Amazon had none of the colors available due to the COVID-19 helmet shortage. I fall on the larger head spectrum and the large size with an adjustable strap fits me perfectly. The helmet is surprisingly light and in these colder months of Oct-Dec, I cannot even tell they are on. Another update in the summer may be coming. Compared to other helmets this has more protection in the back of the head. This is really the main reason I got this helmet is to protect falling backwards and having the head smash down into the concrete. If you watch NFL players get tackled the number one cause of concussion is when they fall back and hit their head on the ground. In cycling when you fall forward normally your hands will break your fall but when you fall backward your hands will soften the blow for your bottom or back but not your head. I've been riding for 20 years and my worse falls have always been falling backward especially when mountain biking. If you're into biking fashion then pass on this helmet. But if you want your head protected well this helmet is for you. It's comfortable, fits large heads like mine, and surprisingly lightweight.

Pre-Ride Review: Good fit and looks. New helmet delivered 09/25, but manufactured 07/22. Owners manual recommends helmet replacement after 5 years of "use" in English translation, but after 3 years of "use" in French and Spanish translations. Sizing: Size L fit my head with the VaporFit adjustment system room remaining. I have a long-oval head shape and wear a 7⅝" fitted baseball cap. I wear an XL (long-oval) motorcycle helmet and there is only one MC helmet available that doesn't cause hot spots on my forehead. Hot spots for this bicycle helmet remains to be seen. The VaporFit system allows adjustment and fit for this helmet to stay on my head while upside-down and the chin straps not buckled. Weight: 306 grams on my scale.

This is a great helmet! It fits well (I was in between a medium and large and went with medium — can wear it with or without a sweatband under. It’s very light and breathable, and the built in sweat band absorbs well.

Not only is it light, but it's also very comfy, with a good design and easy adjustments. All this with MIPS, and a very moderate price. Better than helmets I've tried that were nearly twice the price.

Smith è una marca che non ha bisogno di presentazioni e con questo casco dall'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo ha sicuramente messo sul mercato un ottimo prodotto. Non troverete sul mercato altri caschi MIPS a questo prezzo. Ottimi i materiali e fissaggio molto comodo. Sicuramente consigliato!
