The new Bumble & Bumble Surf shampoo is simply the best shampoo I have ever used. It is a bit pricey compared to lower-end products but it is well worth its price for its brilliant results (and one need not use much of the shampoo for perfect results). The scent is fantastic: fresh, smart, and exhilarating without being too strong or smelling of perfume additives. I have very thick highlighted hair that is naturally wavy but needs some moisturizing love in order not to lose its wave or frizz out. I have tried other "beach waves" shampoos with mediocre to poor results as they tended to dry my hair and/or turn to my hair into frizz without effective volumizing. This shampoo achieves a perfect balance between incredible volume (it is not drying and does not create frizz) and beautiful, perfect waves that remind me of how my hair looked and felt after spending a long, luxurious day at the beach as a teenager. Wonderful!

My wife and I took a recent weekend late-Fall vacation to the Smoky Mountains area. The hotel we were staying at had several complimentary packs of Bumble and Bumble hair products. I'm not one to go around talking about shampoo since I am bald, but I do have a beard. My wife thought it was funny that I used a shampoo designed to help waviness in hair ... on my beard. No waviness was added to my beard, but I loved it. It has a nice, gender-neutral scent and lathers up really well. I'm here ordering myself a bottle for Christmas since I used the last complimentary packet yesterday. There's also a cleaner, softer feel to my beard after using this shampoo. It's worth saying, you don't have to use near as much of this shampoo as others I've tried. I can get by with one drop in the palm of my hand thanks to the rich lather/foaming action. I'm sure if you're washing a head of hair you would need more, but I usually use 4-5 pumps of shampoo on my beard. This bottle should last me quite awhile.

I've tried a lot of shampoos to try and get more volume and texture because my hair falls pretty flat when it's really clean sometimes. But this one truly gives a bit of that "fresh out of the mediterranean sea" type grit and texture, without being overpowering. Perfect for a messy, natural type style.

Sorry but didn’t love this as much as I had hoped to.. for me it didn’t provide the volume at all but I do have long hair so maybe it’s for shorter hair

This is my new go-to shampoo. I have baby fine hair, so can't use products that leave residue. Very refreshing fragrance.
