Worked great...
I bought this for a game controller from a brand I hadn't tried before. The controller was great. It had hall effect sticks to avoid stick drift (99% of the reasons controllers stop working) but after a while, the sticks were great, BUT one of the buttons started to randomly fail or stick. Thankfully, this wasn't a major concern as all I had to do was spend like, 5 minutes in chat with Asurion, they sent me a return label, I packaged it up, sent it out with UPS and later in the same day UPS picked up the package I got a gift card for the full amount of the controller (minus taxes) emailed to me. Honestly, you couldn't ask for a better outcome. Worth the money on most electronic purchases just for peace of mind.

Best idea ever!
Only had to use this service twice and both times it went like clockwork. Refund both times came sooner than expected - within hours. Thanks! I never used to bother getting these plans, but it really is worth it. Pay a tiny amount once and recoup entire cost if an item is damaged or stops working. Highly recommend, especially for electronics, no matter how inpexpensive.

Wonderful customer service, great coverage!
I love this warranty plan. So far, it has been awesome and customer service has been great. It is actually one of the best protection plans that I have had, and I have many of them.Whenever offered on an item, I do purchase the maximum allowed warranty. But I also have the Asurion warranty protection. Plan subscription service for other items. I absolutely love this company. They have been very good to me and my family.

100% Satisfaction.
I bought the 3 year plan for my watch. I don't have much luck with watches. Actually, I love this watch. It does what I want and connects to my phone. I like to keep track of my activity and to use the pedometer on my phone means I have to have my phone on me all the time. This also measures my sleep which I have problems with.I purchased extra bands and chargers. I like the strap and variety of colors. I used to go through watch bands once a year. This band bears up very well. This is comfortable even in Arkansas heat.Somehow, after 1 1/2 years, it wouldn't sync with my phone anymore. When I tried to reset it it went back to January 1st in military time. It took me a little time to find the warranty but they gave me a credit to my Amazon account to purchase the watch again. Actually, I could use the credit for any watch but I like this one best.

Waste of time and money, Nightmare to file claims!
I recently filed my first claim through Asurion and it has been a time-consuming hassle. I figured they would ask for pictures of the item and the invoice from Amazon so I got that all ready to upload to them, but they also needed proof of purchase for the Asurion insurance. So, I sent them the Amazon invoice for that. Not good enough! I had to track down the original email they sent me over 2 years ago to prove I bought the insurance. Now this entire time I haven't been able to speak to an actual person it's just emails and text messages telling me more information needs to be uploaded for my claim. After I sent photos of the product and proof of purchase for the item and insurance, I was notified to fill out a new form so I did, and WARNING! You will need to have saved Everything to file your claim. They want a serial, model, and IMEI number for wireless earbuds! Thankfully I saved the box they came in otherwise I wouldn't have had that information. They also wanted the manufacturer numbers and model, name of seller, brand, make, date of purchase, and so on. It's an extensive list but one I managed to fill out thanks to me saving all my emails, the box the item came in, and Amazon saving information on every item you've ever bought. So, I submitted the form and they once again asked me to upload proof of purchase for not only the item but the Asurion insurance, something I had already done a few times but I uploaded it again and re-submitted the form. After all that they sent me an email saying "We can't approve your claim" because the contact information didn't match, and then I realized this was almost 3 years ago I've moved since then so I must have put my new address down on the claim for instead of the old one, I can fix that easily, right? WRONG! There's no contact information or steps to follow, just a rejection email! So, after all that work my claim was Denied because I used the wrong address, and you can't reply to the emails they send you so I have no clue who or where to take the problem to.Honestly, it's not worth the time and hassle for the price I paid for those earbuds, which I think is what Asurion counts on. They offer insurance on so many items that are valued under 100 dollars even under 50 dollars and I think they count on people giving up halfway through the ridiculous claim process thinking F it I only paid 39.99 for the item and this is too much of a hassle. Then Asurion doesn't have to pay out for half of the claims started.Moral of the Story!!!1. Don't bother buying their insurance unless it's for an expensive item that doesn't have manufacturer insurance.2. When you do buy the insurance Save Everything! The email they send you after purchase, save it! The model, serial, IMEI numbers save it! Invoices or proof of purchase for the item and the Asurion Insurance plan save it! The manufacturer box the item came in save it!3. Mediate before starting the process because it's going to be an annoying time-consuming headache-inducing nightmare!4. I'm not positive about this but I think you can upload your information to Asurion's website right after buying an item and their insurance. I did not do this and I don't know how much it would have helped me during this process if I had, but I assume it would have helped somehow. So do that when you insure an item through them. It might help you in the long run?

worth it if you're accident prone like me
Claims process was fairly easy. The only thing I had a problem with was figuring out which of their pre-determined item type mine was. Through process of elimination, I finally got it right, and, thankfully, list of options was fewer than ten. One thing I didn't realize was that I wouldn't actually get a refund. I got an Amazon credit instead, which I didn't particularly care for. Plus, they don't refund sales taxes, which where I live are 9%, but that's understandable. Overall, it was worth the money because I'm always spilling on or dropping my electronics. I always buy accident protection now.
