I gifted it to my student. She loved it. The book has hardcover which makes it suitable for kids. The pages are thick and there are different stories. Kids enjoyed it.

The stories are very poorly narrated...insipid and lacking a narrative arc. Such a shame because the Ambar Birbal canon is a classic, and makes for great story telling if done right, as many of us may recall from our childhoods. Very disappointed with this. Better ones definitely exist, and I will return these and keep looking.
