Just Right Padding and Comfort
I bought two pairs of these two years ago and may never go back to regular bike shorts. We travel and do bike tours, riding everyday for 7-10 days straight, anywhere from 3-7 hours per days. These provide enough padding for me (and I don't have a naturally padded behind) without being too bulky. They're comfortable to wear before and between rides, and they're easy to hand wash. They even dry fairly quickly depending on the climate, but that's why I bring two pairs, allowing a whole day between wearing a single pair. I actually tend to wear these on top of quick dry panties just to cut down on the need for washing them daily. So the panties get washed daily and bike undies get washed every 2-3 days instead. I've recommended these to friends who were happy with them as well. A valuable purchase in my opinion.

2 issues for me as a cycle instructor
So, here is my full review of these underwear. I am an avid cyclist and I am a spin instructor. The reason I purchased this underwear product was because I wanted to wear some of my nicer, longer leggings that don't have padding when I'm teaching. There are two issues with these underwear for me. The first is that the waist band seems very comfortable when I put them on but when I'm actually cycling it feels like it digging in and it's uncomfortable. Most cycling shorts are high waisted and that is what I am used to wearing. The second issue is the size of padding. The padding is as described and thick enough but it doesn't help me because it doesn't cover my sit bones. This was a concern I had before I purchased the item. Traditional cycling shorts cover a larger portion of the the part of the human body between the legs where they join the torso. Best way to explain without a picture is to say the fit like a sanitary napkin. That does not cover the sit bones when sitting in the saddle. I will try using them a few more times and maybe review my review at a later date. But for me, they do not work as I hoped that they would. But they are exactly as described in the product ad.

Leaves much to be desired.
I'm a relatively experienced spin-goer who just got a home bike, so I wanted to stock up on cycling gear. I've previously only had a handful of padded Pearl Izumi padded shorts and tights, so I wanted something to wear under my normal workout leggings. Looked forward to these, as I have some other Baleaf leggings, but overall I would not recommend: 1. FIT RUNS SMALL - at least for me. I'm always an XL on bottom, and despite ordering that size, they're unusually tight around the waist. It's like the stretch doesn't want to stretch?? 2. MID TO LOW RISE - unsure why these were referred to as "3D Padded High Waist Bike Shorts" because they hit well below the belly button - I should have taken the photos seriously. There's a significant gap between the top of these briefs and the top of my high-waist leggings. It's weird. 3. FABRIC IS ICK - it just doesn't feel high-quality. Like others have said, it's like swimsuit fabric, but it doesn't really want to stretch to allow movement. 4. CHAMOIS IS INEFFECTIVE - I'm used to Pearl Izumi chamois, so maybe it's my bias, but I'd expect more. I did my first ride with these tonight, and while I rode in the seat on slightly higher gear, it felt like there was zero padding. I had to stand up for a few seconds here and there to help, and I seriously looked forward to the standing heavy climbs so I didn't have to sit. Truly ineffective - maybe could help with friction, but definitely not padding. Maybe beginners would be fine with these, or if you sized up if you're thick like me. I will probably hang on to these for when my seat doesn't hurt so much from starting spin again (thankfully it gets better!), but I'd look elsewhere if you want stretchy, comfortable and HIGH-waisted padded bike briefs.

Perfect fit
Smooth, comfortable, breathable , stays in place, regular underwear size, does not sweat or bunch up on long rides; 30+ miles. I have even worn these under bikers shorts. A bit of a wad, but ok for shorter rides. Does not cause rashes. Holds creams and/or gels comfortably.

Great Quality, Extremely Comfortable
I went on a bike tour with Tripsite and used these cycling underwear as it was an 8 day active trip. I purchased a few pairs of these before I went as padded underwear is most recommended- compared to shorts or a padded saddle cover. These were a PERFECT investment! I was able to ride every single day- around 20-30 miles for multiple hours. I was a bit sore but overall, these prevented what surely would have been quite painful! I would buy these over and over again but I probably won't have to do that either, as they are great quality. I highly, HIGHLY recommend purchasing these for your cycling comfort needs.

Quality construction but padding needs improvement
My review of these padded bike underwear is written after a 30 mile ride. The materials used in these padded panties is awesome: quality construction, nice fabric, the purple is lovely and the baboon-butt-red padding is fun. The panty fit well but the padding needs improvement. First, I am 5'4", 112 pounds, have a slim build and I bought a size small. I am fit. The padding hit me in the wrong spots. My impression is that the same size padding is used for all sizes - the same sized padding is sewn into panties of different sizes. If you are bigger the padding may work better for you. As a small person there was waaaay too much useless padding riding up the back of my butt. My sit bones were outside of the narrow padding and none of the big pads in the back were used. The black edging around the legs fits nicely except between my legs - it stuck out stiffly to the sides, rubbed and was uncomfortable when walking. I think I will curl it to the outside and secure it with a few stitches. The panties have a lovely wide contoured waistband but at the top of the waistband there is a 1/4" piece of elastic. After 5 miles of riding this thin piece of elastic cut in so much that it was leaving a red impression in my skin so I rolled the panty top down over my hipbones. I am not sure if this elastic is even needed to keep the panties in place. If it is, a wider (1"?) piece of elastic that isn't too tight would feel better. I gave these panties a 4-star rating because of the quality of the materials but the fit and padding placement, for me, is more of a 2-star.
