Fantastic book, highly recommended
I’m about half way through this now but finding it really good. An easy to read book well written in a simple way that’s not patronising at all. The chapters are not too long so it keeps my interest. What Morgan says in the book is or should be obvious when you think about it but its useful to be reminded in sensible simple way. 5/5 even before I’ve finished reading it!

A refreshing and accessible take on money, behavior, and what truly matters
This book offers timeless wisdom on how our attitudes and emotions shape the way we handle wealth. Unlike typical finance books filled with formulas and jargon, this one focuses on human behavior, how people think about money, why they make the decisions they do, and what actually leads to long-term financial well-being. What really stands out is how simply and clearly Morgan Housel explains complex ideas. Through relatable stories and short, digestible chapters, he shows how context, upbringing, and emotion influence financial choices. It’s a gentle reminder that we should be kinder to ourselves and others when reflecting on financial mistakes. This book encourages empathy, patience, and thoughtful decision-making. It’s not just about money. It’s about understanding behavior and defining success on your own terms. Highly recommended for anyone looking to think more clearly and compassionately about money.

A mindset shift I didn't know I needed
Review: This book genuinely changed how I think about money. It’s not just another finance book filled with charts and waffle — it actually digs into how people behave with money, and why logic often takes a backseat. The writing’s clean, no fluff, and it hits home more than I expected. Pros: Easy to read without being dumbed down. Makes you think differently about risk, luck, and long-term thinking. Good mix of real stories and practical points. Cons: Bit repetitive towards the end Would’ve liked more “what to do next” advice How it helped me: It made me stop obsessing over numbers and start focusing on why I want money — security, freedom, time with my family. It’s a mindset shift I didn’t know I needed. Solid read. Worth your time.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von "The Psychology of Money". Fazit: Ein absolutes "Must-have". Wer sich für die psychologischen Aspekte hinter Geldentscheidungen interessiert und gutes Englisch spricht, sollte hier zugreifen.

I bought The Psychology of Money expecting another finance book full of rules and strategies, but it turned out to be very different, well, in a good way. It’s not really about how much money you make or which stocks to buy, but about how we think and behave around money. What I liked most is how simple and relatable the examples are. Morgan Housel uses short stories that actually make you stop and think, especially about patience, risk, and how emotions play a much bigger role in money decisions than we like to admit. I found myself recognizing my own habits in a lot of the chapters. The book is easy to read, not technical at all, and you don’t need a finance background to get value from it. I’d read a chapter at a time and still feel like I learned something useful. Some ideas seem obvious at first, but the way they’re explained really makes them stick. If you’re looking for a book that helps you build a healthier mindset around money not just investing tips this one is definitely worth reading. I’m glad I picked it up.

I really am enjoying this book! I love that it talks in my language and not using all kinds of fancy terms that I don't understand! The stories help you relate to your own spending habits and money mindset. Makes you think and ponder where your money beliefs came from and how you can improve your own spending, saving and investing strategies. A really good read!
