I bought these as I have long used elderberry syrup to help combat colds. I thought it would be easier than lugging sticky syrup around when I felt a cold coming on. I work with the public, and am constantly exposed. Sure enough, a few weeks ago I started sneezing (I don't have allergies) and my throat was getting raspy. There had been quite a few people I was in contact with that were obviously sick. Ugh. I started taking the capsules immediately (I don't mess around) 2 every 4 hours, and when I got home I followed with zinc and vitamin C also every four hours. I was getting worse and by the evening my nose was running, my sinuses were clogged, my throat hurt and I couldn't stop sneezing. I felt awful. I kept with the regimen , took some night time cold med later when I was too miserable to sleep, and woke up the next morning with my symptoms gone. I mean gone. I was still feeling a bit fatigued, but the head cold was gone. So, this isn't the first time I've experienced this, as I said, I've always used elderberry SYRUP, zinc,+c in the past, but this was the first time I tried elderberry CAPSULES and they worked just as well. its seems to be working, it's no magic cure, but it seems to shorten the number of days of illness, so I will for sure keep this around for whenever I feel sick

I was unable to use this supplement because the expiry information was not visible on the package I received. For health products, having a clear expiry date is essential to know if it is safe and effective. Without it, I cannot recommend this item.

I’ve been using it for a while and the only thing i noticed that it soothes my stomach.

I have been taking this from past 3 years. I cant think of any other elderberry brand apart from NOW FOODS. Still continuing it till date.
