Save time and money
Marie French door refrigerator with the freezer at the bottom started acting up. The refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working perfectly. The reason why is because the The cooling fan has stopped working. I had done this before about four years ago. I bought the fan for my GE profile model number from Amazon. It arrived in one day. My bottom freezer unit was disassembled, I put the new fan in plug and play type. Put everything back together. And it worked quietly and perfectly just as it was new. I think I saved about $400 by doing this myself. I highly recommend to do it.

Works like it should
Watched a how to video on YouTube got this thing & fridge is working great again. Instructions could be better but you tube was there to help with that. Good product. I would buy again

Easy install, first time refrigerator repair man here. After a YouTube video I was able to safely swap motor. It does not come with the fan blade. Seems to be decent quality. It saved my fridge from the dump!

Received a defective fan, almost misled me to change the main board!
I'm giving this one star because I received a defective evaporator fan, and it almost misled me into changing the main board. I bought this item mainly because of fast shipping. When I received it, the fan looked exactly the same as the original and appeared to be in good shape. However, I noticed it spun extremely slowly when I connected it to the fridge. Then I tested it using a 9V battery; it spun slowly when the white/yellow wire was connected, so I thought it might be good and the problem might be the main board. However, the voltage between wires measured 13.1V between both white/yellow and white/blue, which suggests the main board provided the correct voltage. So I tend to believe that I received a defective fan. Then I bought a new fan from the GE parts store for about $65, which works perfectly. I do not recommend this item. Even if you are lucky enough to receive a working one, it might not last long.
