I like this little easel. It has decent balance and was simple to put together without tools.The problem came with the very first canvas I tried to use it with-- a 12 inch square. The top bracket cannot be lowered to that level as the top joint interferes. So I had to undo it and fasten the bracket below the joint (where the back leg pokes through the front two) and then extend the chain with elastic as the legs sit wider to accommodate for the screw and nut (or whatever that little winged thing that secures the screw is called). It sounds awkward and it is. But it still works.For smaller or larger canvases (up to about 18" tall) there should be no such problem.

Very nice table-top easel for the price. Finish of the wood could be a little better and the design won't stand up well to rough handling (first one arrived broken inside the package), but this easel represents a great value for the size and features it has compared to most similar models. I would certainly buy again. Highly recommended!

This is a really simple, easy-to-build easel, and is a great addition for someone wanting a basic table-top option. I was missing a washer for one of the nut/bolt assemblies but figure that was an easy fix with a plastic one I had on hand. I get good usage out of this inexpensive but utilitarian item.

It holds my smaller canvases just fine. The build quality of the table easel is a little shoddy however. There are some splinters in the unfinished wood and the fit and finish isn't exactly very polished. Granted, this is a 13.00 easel, but I expected a little better quality even for a budget easel. If you're strapped for cash, this might be worth considering. Just be aware the construction is a little subpar.

A great easel. It's fairly sturdy and does its job holding your canvas while painting. Careful not to tighten those bolts too tight when you assemble it, I cracked one of these easels trying to set it up.

The easel is a great find. It is sturdy and stable to hold many canvas sizes. Unfortunately, it comes delivered unassembled. I wish I knew that when I ordered 25 of these for a canvas event because it took a great deal of time to have them ready.

All in all it is a good easel, but I was not aware that is assembly was required. Which in itself one and have been a bad deal if all the holes were drilled. Luckily they only missed one hole so I was able to put it together for the most part and will work for what I need for.

The first time I bought this easel I really liked it. However, I ordered 2 more of them and those were not nearly as easy to assemble as the first one was. The wing nut for the large bolt that holds the 3 legs and mainframe together was too small on both of them. I could not get it to screw on even when I held the other end still with pliers. So, the 2 new ones I got are complete crap. I won't buy another one.
