Finally a delicious and "clean" BBQ sauce that is free of added sugars and preservatives. I tried one other expensive brand and it was horrible and I tossed it so I was hesitant on this one too but since I LOVED the "Date Lady" Chocolate and I felt confident about trying the BBQ sauce. It did not disappoint and we made the most delicious ribs using it. Yes, it is a bit expensive however, my health is worth it. The flavor is the perfect balance of tang and sweet, more on the sweeter side but honestly, just right. I highly recommend it.

It tastes great, and it's made with clean ingredients. I like the thickness of the sauce, it is not runny. I can finally eat BBQ sauce again and feel good about it.

This stuff tastes great. I will be the first to admit that it doesn't taste exactly like your typical Barbecue Sauce, but when you consider it has all natural, organic ingredients, all of which you can pronounce, all of which you are fully familiar with what they are, and none of which are fillers, preservatives or artificial sweeteners, that's a big plus for me. It's got sweetness to it, and it's thick enough to really cling to whatever you put it on. When you factor in that it's all natural plant-based ingredients, if you're into any kind of whole foods plant-based lifestyle, you definitely want to give this a try as a topping for your veggie burgers - which is what I use it for, as a substitute for ketchup. I'm also looking forward to making some veggie meatballs and throwing them in the crockpot with some of this sauce, watered down, as a great appetizer. I will admit this sauce is a little pricey for the size of the bottle, but for me, it's worth it; and, as thick as it is, a little will go a long way.

I was looking for an organic BBQ sauce that tasted good and did not have all the toxic sweeteners like corn syrup and chemicals found in most barbecue sauces on the market. I have tried other organic BBQ sauces and they all tasted like crap, so I took a chance and bought this with low expectations. To my surprise, this sauce is the best I have ever had! I went through two bottles in a few days and promptly ordered 4 more. Since it is made with a date base, it is sweet, but has proper smokey tomatoey flavor. Although it has ancho pepper powder in it, it is not hot at all. I put it on grilled chicken and it was awesome! I put it on all kinds of stuff and it tastes great. Yea Date Lady!

I enjoyed this after diluting the heat by adding more organic tomato paste (also reduced the sugar content) and purified water, but am reactive to the ancho peppers. Triggered sinus discomfort and a headache. Took a few uses for me to figure that out. Carried a sample to one of my practitioners who identified it as allergenic through energy-testing. Back to the drawing board for me, but I recommend you try this quality product if you like sweet & smoky ancho heat. Super thick with no gums or starches added, so a good value. Pineapple juice would be an excellent addition to thin it a bit for pouring or mopping. Date Lady, will you please make me a Kansas City sauce that's sweet and mild?

It is healthy and tastes great! I bought one to try it out. I will definitely be continuing to buy this product! Not I plan to try other products made by them.

Delicious and no fructose corn syrup will definitely buy again! The consistency is thick and baked up gooey on Chicken.
