KS2 Maths Workout - Year 6 (CGP KS2 Maths) : William Hartley: desertcart.in: Books Review: It's perfect for a quick review of the knowledge Review: My son in Year 4 at a state primary loves maths but his teacher has admitted she can no longer teach him as he is so far ahead in the class. We agreed that I would buy a book for him to do in maths lessons when he had finished the class work. This workbook assumes the child can do long multiplication, long division and read complicated questions by themselves. It's good because my son doesn't need any help to complete a page and yet it is a good revision of his maths skills. I think it could be used by year 4/5 children who enjoy Maths. This approach is working much better than the other option of sending the child to the back of the class to read when they've finished their work, my son reads a lot at home (currently on Lord of the Rings) so think it's best to improve his maths while he is keen. Just remember to cut the answers out - my daughter never thought of looking at the back of the book first!
