My son loves this little lunchbox; he's Mario-obsessed and likes the separate compartments. But be warned - i wouldn't call it a sandwich box, because you are *really* going to struggle to fit a sandwich in, even in the larger compartment. And if you do fit one in, little fingers can struggle to get it out again (speaking from bitter experience). So in terms of everything else it's great - you can wash it easily (the whole lid comes off easily and fits back together with no problem) but it is very small. I wouldn't say you can fit a sandwich in it - we've had to buy a bigger fabric lunch bag for this to sit inside - but it's very good for keeping the other bits of a lunch (yoghurt, fruit, crisps, crackers etc) organised and accessible.

My grandson (and daughter) were delighted with this. Well made and sections are great for a preschooler who needs to take different snacks. Would highly recommend

Abit expensive for what it is but a few years on and it's still going strong. Easy to open and the design is still in tact

My issue was the size of the box not appropriate for > 5 years old if they normally have big luches to take to school. Not a great opening mechanism either unless you completely remove the top which could be quite tricky for kids as hard plastic. Cute though

Bought this 10 months ago. My son has used it for school lunch nearly every day and it is still looking good. Character images have not faded. I only use it for solids so can't really comment on if it is leak proof if used for semi solids. However, I can say that the lid stays shut and we haven't experienced any leakages.
