I'm happy to say I'm very pleased with this purchase
We live in Lima, Peru, and were looking for a simple cover to protect our patio furniture from the sun, dust/dirt, and keep dew off. I'm happy to say I'm very pleased with this purchase. Fit: This item is cut properly (tapered front, with straight sides), and fits perfect over my patio chair. Perfect fit out of the box. Also, there are leg ties in case you're storing for the winter, or are in an especially windy location. Quality: The material and workmanship of this cover is good. Quality, sewn seams, welded on the inside. It's not a traditional plastic or canvas cover, it's more like a felt-like material, and does rip a little easier than a canvas one might. However, it's way lighter, and breathable. I can't really speak to the ling-term waterproof ability, since it never rains here in Lima...but it appears to be made of the same material some light-weight rain jackets are. I tested with a garden hose, and the water just beads and rolls off, so there's that. All in all, it's a decent buy for the money, and as long as it lasts a few years, I'll be happy with the purchase.

Duck Chair Cover
My previous chair covers had torn and were leaking onto the cushions. From reviews, the Duck products looked like a heavier material to protect the outdoor patio chairs. I ordered two and have been happy with them. They have done a great job of protecting the chairs and I would recommend them. This is my second Duck product purchase as I bought a co er for the patio outdoor couch and it has also done a great job and has worn well.

Great chair covers
Great chair covers. Really easy to get on and off. Sneaky favorite part is that you can tie down the cover to the back two legs of the patio chair and just slide it on and off. But even if you want to take the cover completely off, the covers are well-formed and go back on over the chair with no problem at all. Definitely recommend them and especially at the price. I know folks who have spent $80 per cover for patio chair covers that aren't half as good as these. I will suggest that if you live in a wet climate, these may not work for you. Get the Duck Covers Elite covers to insure water repulsion if you get heavy. I live in the desert so that's not an issue for me. These have held up great to desert summer sun and I have no complaints at all.

Just ok.
These covers are just ok. They fit a bit oversized, however they do fit and being a bit bigger is better than too tight. The good is: They fit and slip on easily. They are a light color and seem to resist mildew on the cover. And they were inexpensive. The bad: They are water resistant. I have found with a good hard rain if the water puddles in the cover it will get through and soak the cushions underneath. Also, the leg fastening is just some flat sewn in oversized shoelace on each corner. I'm not a fan as when a quick rain comes in you have to sit there and tie each leg with the shoelace strap so they won't blow off. If the storm comes with any wind and you don't tie off each strap to a leg the covers will become like parachutes and just blow off. These straps would be much better if they were like a velcro that you could just wrap and strap each leg in seconds. Or a bungie cord of sorts with a hook. I may just McGuyver a system like this on my covers as this is my biggest gripe with the covers.
