Professional Car Duster Interior – Car Accessories for Women and Men (Lint & Scratch Free)

I just received the duster yesterday. First of all, I am very pleased with the quality of this product. It is very well made and strong. The extendable handle feels very strong and the non slip foam grip is very comfortable. When the handle is extended, there is absolutely no hint of wobble because of the construction of the shaft. Being an engineer, the design of the tube that makes up the sliding handle is the way you design something that will not bend or work loose over time. The tube has an oval shape and quite robust, it also has two guide groves, one on each side. If this extension mechanism ever loosens or bends, I will be very surprised. Also, when extending the handle, there is a certain amount of resistance that will not let the brush slide back accidentally when fully opened or fully closed. Don't look for any buttons or levers to operate when extending or closing this handle because there are none. You just need to use a small amount of effort to open or close the duster by holding the brush part and pulling the handle to open and pushing the handle to close, it will slide smoothly into position. As far as the duster part is concerned, WOW! There is no room on the brush part to add more fibers, the brush is just packed with fibers and there is no room for any more. Though I only had this for one day, I am very impressed with its dusting ability. I have one car, one truck and an SUV to take care of and two of them are dark colors and show scratches or swirl marks very easily. Once dust, pollen or road grime lands on my vehicles, I never try to remove it until I can thoroughly wash that vehicle for fear of scratching the paint, that is until now. Normal dust or pollen is one thing to try and dust off but real road grime is something else and I would not use the duster for that but that is me. Dusting road grime, is something that everyone will have to decide on for themselves. My test of the duster was simply to try it on the roof of my black truck which had an accumulation of four days of dust and pollen. I tried it on the roof first, just in case if it did scratch, no one would be able to see it but me because it is pretty high up. When I finished dusting the roof, I then examined the paint closely and could find any signs of swirl marks or fine scratches from removing the dust and pollen. I cleaned everything with this duster, windows, paint, plastic, chrome, interior seats, dash, console etc. and it worked perfectly. My wife had warned me that only the very best dusters will pick pick up the dirt rather than just move it around but this duster picked up everything and I did not use any pressure at all. I know that there are some people out there that would never use a duster on their vehicle "baby" but I had to do something. I am getting up in years now and I had to find a viable alternative to washing three vehicles about every four to five days, so I tried using a duster and I am glad I did. I picked this one our from all the dusters that I could find on the internet because of the overwhelming positive reviews and believe me, I compared a lot of dusters. I believe that most people tend to read the positive reviews which is OK but I first read all the negative reviews and then decide if they are accurate, then read the positive reviews. In the case of this duster, out of 53 reviews, there were really only 4 reviewer's that gave it 4 stars and no one gave it less than 4 stars, a rare occurrence. Anyway, I was able to clean all three cars, inside and out in well under 10 minutes and I am pretty fussy with my vehicles but not crazy fussy. I then came into the house to get something to drink and I saw my wife with my duster cleaning the house. She told me that she really liked it and to get another one for her. She then said that most all of the dusters that she has tried, just pushed the dirt around or made little dust clouds and the ones that did pick up the dust you had to frequently go outside and shake them out, or clean them with a vacuum, except this one. I know that I am making a pretty bold statement of how good this duster is but I am pretty confident that you will feel the same way, I just wish that they made a smaller one also. I hope that this was of some help.

Keep these in my car to whip all the dust away on my dash and screen. Very handy to have removes the dust and doesn’t scratch my screen. It is very sturdy however storing it is a pain as it doesn’t fit many places so I do find it often in my trunk.

This little gadget is so useful! Yes, it works very well in your car, especially the dashboard. It’s so easy to keep clean. I discovered many other places it’s useful! I use it for quick dusting on furniture. I was delighted to see how well it worked on my large slat binds with ease. I definitely recommend this product.

Excels at picking up the dust and saves a lot of time cleaning up inside my car. I bought one for my house to dust off my audio equipment and wooden furniture. Very effective.

I recently bought another car and never even thought of getting a duster. But at the dealership, the seller mentioned to get the California duster. So after a few days of driving around NYC, I noticed quite a bit of dust on the car. So I went in search of that duster and I came upon this Duster and was impressed by the reviews. Quite a few places even compared those two and came to the conclusion that the Ultimate one was better. So I order the set and it came rather quickly. The two dusters came in their own plastic bag which was also inside another plastic bag. (See pic 1). Taking them out the bigger external duster has its own storage bag while the smaller interior duster can be kept or thrown out. (See pic 2) Both dusters have ample enough fibers but the bigger one is like they fed it with hormones. Bottom line its huge. (See pic 3) The handle has a good feel and has a rubbery grip. I was looking for a button to extend the handle and then realized that you pull it out. It comes out to about double its length and while I would have liked for it to be longer, it serves its purpose in reaching the top of the SUV without too much hassle. (See pic 4) As for using the bigger external duster, all I can say is it does its job very very well. The car was quite full of dust and the duster, cleaned it off like if it went through a car wash without water. No streaks and no scratches. I can't tell if the fibers are coated, but they left a nice shine to the car after dusting it off. Although I do believe you shouldn't use the bigger external duster on glass like the windshield, I did use it on the panoramic glass roof and it took off all the dust without leaving a residue. Highly impressed. Pros: Does it job, thick fibers and leaves no streaks. Does seem to clean the glass of dust too. Good grip, easy to use and gives the vehicle a nice clean look / shine. Love that I got the set which includes the smaller duster for the interior. Cons: 1-It can get snagged on some trim. It snagged on the front bumper area and it pulled one of the fibers out to which I had to cut. I attribute that to being my fault since I never dusted before and was swiping away like no tomorrow. But if one is careful, it shouldn't snag on trim, mirrors, etc. 2-Wish the handle was a tiny bit longer. 3-Wish the smaller duster had its own dedicated bag like its bigger version. Bottom line: Well worth getting and highly recommended especially if you get the set. I just might get another set for the house.

In the ad the color was uniform all over, in reality the bristles are more purple than grey. Either they enhanced the photo or changed the materials used. Still, it serves its purpose and is a nice size to tuck in the side of the trash can I also bought on Amazon. I can’t speak to easy of washing it yet.

Well I bought it to use on the dash of my 4runner since parts of the dash are hard to reach for me as I am not as flexible as I used to be. I have not tried it there yet but have found it works fantastic around the house. Particularly to dust the tops of door facings and a large variety of other things that just needed a quick dusting. Oh my!
