What is the difference between the glitter and coated looks?

I can only speak of the solid color (which is what I purchased). It is a very soft leather. I am very happy with my purchase.

Is the dollar bill slot big enough so you don’t have to stuff them in it?

Yes the bill slot is big enough so you don’t have to fold the bills, and I usually have 5-10 bills in it without it getting a bulge or difficult to close. I have the bills, 3 credit cards, license and 3-4 medical cards in it and it is still slim and easy to close. I don’t, however, put many coins in it.

Does it snap shut or is the button for looks

The wallet snaps closed. The change purse part zips closed.
