After reading through some of these reviews I had to make my own to try and counter the negative dramatics because my son took these for the first 2 years of his life and showed tremendous improvement. Was it the vitamins? Perhaps. Let me start off by saying I extensively researched baby vitamins for months and these smarty pants baby vitamins have the highest choline content you will find out there. Choline is used for brain development. Tons of research shows it helps cognition and neurological function. The more the better. This vitamin right here is packed full of it. Next is the DHA... that's the stuff every body is over exaggerating. They use algal oil to keep the product vegan and I personally like that it isnt derived from fish oil because that means no heavy metals. Does it have a particular smell? Yes.. will it stain the bottle/cup? Also yes... Does it do wonders for brain development? Heck yes.... it's definitely different but it isn't beyond human consumption and I mixed it in milk and my son drank it from 6 months to 2 yrs with no issue what so ever. My recommendation would be to start as young as you can and get them acclimated to it. If you start later just be prepared to hide it in puree or drink. The benefits of this vitamin far outweigh the down sides because you won't find another like it, trust me, I looked.Anyway, I hope my review helps another weary eyed mom at midnight on the search for a vitamin that will truly help their baby. This is the one. Give it a shot and take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. You would be hard pressed to find a little one that LOVES vitamins.Despite the negative reviews, I hope smarty pants keeps this vitamin in stock because they are helping babies like mine who need it the most.

so happy to see 'cleaner' baby products out there now a days... we are so happy with this.first off, its completely nondeductible in milk; we add to our 13 month olds milk and he doesnt notice. i am sure you could mix it into anything.but the smell is not pleasant. its what youd expect from this vitamin: fishy. BUT it tastes completely different! it tastes like citrus. so, your LO wont notice the taste but it does smell a bit weird.regardless we love it and trust it. boost the brain power! we just reordered and will continue to do that...i also think they could work on the dropper part thorough. its a syringe that you have to tip the bottle upside down to get it out but its fine. i am sure we could also remove the little soft plastic thing that prevents getting it the other way. anyway, not a huge deal but we want every last drop and you can still get it either way.

I got the infants liquid multivitamin for my 1 year old. It’s so gross! First of all we placed the order on December 14, 2021, the expiration date is December 15, 2021, so by the time it arrived it was already expired. Add to that the smell and taste are both completely disgusting. I am extremely disappointed as I expected better from this brand. We didn’t realize it was expired at first because, silly me, I trusted that my brand new order was still fresh, silly me right? We gave my kid a few doses but now he won’t take it and has been refusing anything that we used to put it in, I don’t blame him. On top of the horrible smell and taste it separates from liquid so you have to mix it in all the time AND where it separates leaves a nasty orange ring and stains the cup it was in! This is bad stuff. If you’re considering a liquid infant vitamin, look somewhere else!

Wow. Just wow. I think I haven’t even been using this a full week and have seen enormous improvement. My almost 15 month old did not even babble, only moaned/groaned and screamed all day long. No fine motor skills whatsoever. Within a week, he is walking around like a chatterbox babbling bababa mamama, showing interest in functional playing (such as puzzles, stacking, putting objects in) whereas he was stuck in mouthing objects before. Yes it stinks disgustingly, but just squirt it into a cup with mixed juice and water. I don’t even know what else to say besides thank you…and buy this right away if your child is delayed in any area.

I've been giving this to my recently turned one year old for the past few days and I noticed that when I put it in her cup or her food, she doesn't finish it all (which is not normal b/c she LOVES to eat haha) so I just decided upon myself to taste it and realized this does taste TERRIBLE!! I think what I'll start doing is giving her half the dosage twice a day instead and see how that works out...even as I write this, I still have the nasty after taste in my mouth so I can imagine how it feels to my daughter lol...I'll see how the half dosage works and will edit my review.
