My only complaint is that the sizing guide on this listing is off. I ordered a small based on the measurements listed. Luckily my legs are skinny enough that I can still fit in them but they are so tight that they get uncomfortable after awhile. The size chart on the package is more accurate. If I buy these again now I know I'm a medium.

I've worn these religiously for years and they look brand new. They still fit snug. I've pretty much exclusively worn them under my pants, so they don't come into direct contact with abrasive surfaces. This is the way to wear them in my opinion. When worn underneath clothing they are durable and will last you a very long time. The picture provided with this review is the result of heavy use over the course of three years. I've worn these in the gym, while working, and for structural firefighting. Once I put them on I don't even notice they are there.

We definitely prefer McDavid kneepads over other brands because a good kneepad needs to provide adequate protection as well as not constrict movement and these kneepads provide that perfect balance. These kneepads are durable but they won’t last forever, which is what is expected. My personal opinion is that these kneepads are the best out in the market and highly recommend it to kids playing basketball.

I had planned to use this for my elbows during planks. Well, immediately (within 10 sec of planking) I felt uncomfortable and stopped, took off the pad, and saw the pattern of the silicone pad imprinted on my bare skin. In comparison to foam pads that I also purchased, these are not worth the money. Now maybe if you wear padding underneath them that might work. My elbow circumference is ~10.5". The Small size was very loose at the openings.

Fits a little tight. A little uncomfortable. But it’s the best I’ve found. And I can’t afford another unprotected fall.

Product being used for AAU basketball. Sizing from McDavid accomodates big and little guys, so you can find a product that will fit. Overall, the product is very lightweight and flexible and does not bother my guy by being "itchy or stiff". Decent amount of protection given the weight. We have played in more than a few tournaments and product is holding up well, i.e. no rips or tears yet. Overall a good product and I would not hesitate buy again.

I purchased two pair of these for my daughters to try for volleyball after I was feeling so tired of the super stinky bacteria harboring fabric that volleyball knee pads are made of! I figured it was worth a shot right? I am torn on how to review them, for one daughter they held up well (she is less prone to diving for balls). The other daughter who is a varsity Libero and constantly diving for balls, they did not hold up as well. They both have loved the fit and they have been put to the test of repeated knee landings and have not had sore or bruised knees. I love the fact that after a very busy club season *THEY DON'T SMELL*!! I am sure the reason that they are not smelling is due to the fabric that they are made of which is why one set has multiple holes. When I asked them What i should buy for the upcoming high school season... They asked me to order more of these, so for comfort and effective they should get 5 stars but for high impact durability they only get 4.
