Works as if should. Every once in a while the foam part, that applies the paint, will fall out. It’s annoying to get the paint on your fingers when it does it. As long as you carful it will stay in.

I'm a school librarian, so I'm constantly looking for ways to decorate the library. My library has large windows and I use these for decorations. I have tried many products for writing on the windows, but haven't found a lot of products that write well, have bold colors, AND, easily erased. I bought the larger nib and did a test area. It had a bold color and came off so easily! For a large pen they are a little expensive (like most educators, I'm buying this out of my own money) so I hope they last a decent time. Wish they had fun colors like metallics and glitter, but it is a good start.
