Atlantis A506 AH-56A Cheyenne Helicopter 1/72 Model Kit

I’m pretty happy with how this turned out, especially considering the low price and that the color and material looked like it was made from the same stuff as the green army men kids have played with for decades. The instructions look fascinatingly retro too. But it all came together nicely and I’m happy with the way it turned out, especially since this is the only kit I can think of for the fascinating AH-56 Cheyenne helicopter, which is even more fascinating since one of the US Army Future Vertical Lift competitors, the SB-1 Dauntless, looks quite a lot like a modern version of this helicopter. Very thankful to this company for making this kit!

Got my kit I great shape and ahead of schedule. Only thing that's a problem was that the decals were missing, any way I can get replacement?*****Update*****I was contacted about this issue (missing decals) and was under the impression that I would get replacements but nope no such luck.

I finally got this out of my closet after a couple months. As I started to separate the parts and cleaning them up I realized there was no canopy. I'm very organized and keep things together but I searched for it knowing I had just opened it and it hadn't moved from my table. Otherwise it looks like a decent kit and an interesting piece. This is actually a first for me. I've never had a kit missing anything even used ones from ebay. I'll probably order again but check it as soon as I get it.

I wanted another crack at this model since I was a kid. I had attempted the aurora kit when I was a kid, but couldnt complete it. Now atlantis models has released the old kit under its own label. This kit is definately not for beginners. It took alot of sanding and filling and improvisation to complete. But when it was done, it builds into a very impressive model kit.
