Surgery recovery. So comfortable
After 2 eye surgeries, I'm trying this on the 3rd to stay in the recomended prone position. Having a pregnant belly and needing to live and sleep face down for a few weeks in order to hopefully save your vision isn't easy, definitely not comfortable, or even safe for baby. This pillow is absolutely wonderful makes me feel safe as well as my baby. Its so comfortable I don't want to get up. Paired with a face down pillow it's as close to perfect as I can get, I will try sleeping with this arrangement. It does not come with a pump. If you're creative you can use a hair dryer and a cone shape sheet of paper. That's what I did

I love my baby bump air mattress!
My husband kindly blew it up for me with a air mattress pump for camping. So it worked great. Once he filled it up and I laid on it, I was instantly relieved from pain and I felt extreme comfort. The more pregnant I get the harder it is to get comfortable and find positions to sleep in. I’m a stomach sleeper and back sleeper and both are dangerous for the baby and you after a certain period in your pregnancy. I believe second trimester. Don’t quote me on that. Though I’m 22 weeks and a few days and I am not able to sleep like that. I’m only allowed to sleep on my sides. Which after a while really makes your legs sore. So this baby bump mattress was a huge winner. I wish I could sleep on it all night next to my husband, in our bed, but it’s a little too big for our queen sized bed. This is nice for when you want to rest and take the weight off your feet and your day. When I laid on it I felt my lower back feel a relief as well. I couldn’t be happier with this. They do give you, what they call a swaddle to throw over the hole for comfort. I think a sheet would make this even better. You definitely can sleep on this. Had I laid on it any longer I would have drifted away. After I’m done with this, I will be gifting a pregnant women with this. So glad I got this. I only wish I got this sooner. That’s baby bump! So worth the money.

Relieves Aches Safely
Overall I'm happy with this product. I'm 5'8, was 135lbs before pregnancy and at 33 weeks I am 170lbs, so I'm not overweight for pregnancy (an important factor when it comes to pregnancy pains). Throughout 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy I've had round ligament pain, illionguinal nerve pain, hip pain, lower back pain, and sciatic nerve pain (made worse from a back injury sustained prior to pregnancy). Sometimes I can't even walk without help, and I wake up multiple times a night from intense pain after sleeping on my side even while supported with pillows. Taking 20 minutes here and there during the day to lay down on this thing is CLUTCH. Laying face-down takes so much pressure and strain off of all those nerves, ligaments and tissues that struggle when upright or laying on your side, and it has a slightly stretchy cloth you can lay over the belly hole so that your belly weight doesn't pull your low back straight down. When I lay in this thing I can finally BREATH - there's finally enough room for my lungs to expand! I like that there is a separate inflatable ring around the belly hole fir added support for smaller bellies. When I first got this I used needed the extra support around my belly, but now that I'm further along I've deflated the ring and my belly comfortably fits in the larger hole, so it transitions well as the belly grows. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the optional inflatable pillow is, and I don't even bother using my own pillow with it. I appreciate the hole for the bust as well. I've tried other maternity pillows which have an annoying and uncomfortable divider in the center of the chest hole, and it's unpleasant to say the least. This product's long hole with no center divider accomodates the bust without added pain in the chest or making it hard to breath. Overall I recommend this product! However, I do have a few criticisms for the company to consider making improvements on: 1. Pregnant women often experience shortness of breath, so please consider including a pump with this product so we don't pass out trying to inflate it. The struggle was REAL, especially since there are two different types of ports. 2. Pregnant women often struggle with balance and trying to get up off this thing is really challenging and requires a lot of straining. At 33 weeks I have to have my partner lift my waist up while I push up with my arms because there is nowhere to securely plant my feet. Please consider some sort of cutout at the sides of the bottom to be able to place feet on the floor, or some sort of stabilizing feature so the product doesn't slide around. 3. Pregnant women often have swollen ankles and feet and need to keep them elevated when possible, which can't be done on this product because of the downward slope from belly to feet. Please consider adding some sort of bolster attachment to be placed under the shins so we can elevate our feet while laying in this. Thank you for making this product! It is incredibly helpful as I complain my way through this miserable 3rd trimester!

Feels like I paid 80 for a water floaty that’s uncomfortable and useless
I’m 6 months pregnant where my belly goes in it feels uncomfortable I’m 5 2 and this doesn’t help the hole is round and not oval don’t waist your money on this it says if you flip it around “the hole is larger” but it’s the same size. for this to cost $80 and it’s not even made out of cushion it is ridiculous I feel like I paid for an air water floaty that’s should be $20. Whoever made this product do better this is not pregnancy approved I just want to be able to sleep comfortable and not to mention when you inflate this all the way it’s even more uncomfortable and it makes my ribs and chest hurt I slept on this for 2 hours and ended up kicking it off my bed no thanks i would rather sleep on my sides I’m so disappointed i even bought this and my money won’t be refunded after 16 days to my bank account I would’ve been better off buying a mommy pillow and found a way to be comfortable on that using a bunch of pillows to support my legs ect to all the mommies out there don’t buy this it’s a huge waist of money :(

Not so great for short/petite girls?
This is a great idea and I wish it worked better for me...I'm thinking it's because I'm so short? It's very difficult for me to climb onto it and get situated, and I feel like the leg part is for taller people maybe. Even with the cloth, my belly still pulls on my back, so while I can lay on it for a bit for some relief I am unable to sleep on it comfortably for the night... I was unable to figure out where to put my head with the pillow part blown up or deflated... just couldn't get it right. I almost wanted to send it back but I guess I can donate it. It's nice to lie on for a while during the day. But I really wish I could sleep on it. I'm 5'3" and my belly seems pretty big to me...tried all the possible variations n it still pulls my back a little too much. I wish my legs could slant down more to relieve lumbar compression. And it's sorta wide so I can't hang them off the sides too well, either. I think a size small and large for these based on height would be a great idea. I can tell it would be amazing if I could get it right. I'm 38 weeks and about 210lbs. UPDATE- I was desperate and decided to try lying across this like a t. So instead of the regular way, I turned it sideways and hung the long part off the bed and slept on it across with my head and legs off the sides... It worked great, and I had pillows under my chest and head and my legs were very comfortable. So it saved me after all.

Worth the money
Only used for 2 nights but been the best 2 nights of sleep I’ve had in a while. The big plug is kinda hard to air up bc I’m using a Milwaukee air pump but I got it figured out. I’m currently 28weeks with TWINS. Also 5’7” and 160lbs. I’ve gained 30lbs so far and my upper back has been KILLING me at night or anytime I try to lay or sit down. My chiropractor can’t do a whole lot with me either. All my life I’ve been a belly sleeper and this being my first pregnancy I’ve been missing belly sleeping something awful. I determined that my upper back pain had to be coming from not being able to sleep on my stomach so I broke down and ordered this “overpriced pool float”. Thankfully it has been worth every penny. I went from trying to sleep propped up with pillows on my back and sides from 3am to 7:30am to now I’m sleeping from 10pm to 3am on my belly and 3am to 7:30am on my back. Life saver!

Better than nothing, I guess
I'm almost 8 months pregnant, and my hips have been aching so bad when I sleep! Being facedown does help my hips, but the fact that it slopes downward toward the feet, makes my hips pop up, causing.... you guessed it... hip pain! I tried deflating it a bit until it was comfortable, and tried all the combinations of using the inner-blow-up-ring vs not, etc. I still could not get comfortable. So I started a return, but then tried deflating it literally HALF way so that its level all the way across. That finally helped alleviate the hip pain, but now the downside is that my belly touches the ground causing sleight discomfort. I'm thinking I will keep it just because it's better than nothing. I'd rather have my belly be "uncomfortable" rather than have excruciating pain in my hips. So all in all, its NOT worth $80! But since I haven't found anything out there like this for $30/$40, I just roll my eyes and try to forget that I paid so much. If you are desperate enough to relieve hip pain, I suppose this is worth a try.

Game Changer for Belly Sleepers
As a belly sleeper, this was a game changer! At 22 weeks pregnant, I was up 10 times a night or simply couldn’t sleep trying to find a decent position for myself (trying to side sleep) and my wiggling baby, plus constantly having to pee, even while sleeping with a very nice highly rated adjustable u-shaped body pillow. I also have 2 pups that liked to take over the fluffy body pillow for themselves. BUT the past 2 nights with my COZY BUMP have been, no joke, corpse style 9-hours of sleep without even an urge to pee because baby was so comfortable with the spacious bump hole! (No more kicking my bladder!) It definitely took some adjustment of the air compartments. Filling to capacity was too firm for me. So adjusting and letting the air out while I laid on the Cozy Bump until it was to my liking (when I literally fell asleep on it by accident while adjusting it 😂), made it far more comfortable, less firm/more squishy. Plus, my pups stay off of it since it’s air-filled and wobbly unlike the body pillows! I use a twin sized fitted sheet, as recommended, since I’m ultra sensitive to the plastic smell (but that pretty much gets rid of the odor). Other than that, the Cozy Bump has been a miracle for me. I don’t do reviews, but this demanding a review! - I gave it 5/5 overall, but 4/5 stars for comfort and pain relief only because it required quite a bit of personal adjusting with air pressure, and my neck ached a bit from turning my face to sleep face down, since there isn’t a face hole like a massage table. Otherwise, it was comfy for my baby bump, chest, arms (not squished under me or by side sleeping!), and legs, and it was a miracle to finally get multiple full nights of sleep!!! Highly recommend!
