Gorgeous Unique Blankets
I am so pleased with these gorgeous quilt blankets! They are soft and so unique! They are all so colorful. I washed them on the gentle cycle and they smell great. They are made of two layers of soft cotton and are fairly lightweight. I thought I would sew two of them together so I could put it on my queen size bed. I plan to keep one in the camper van for when I go camping in Texas as it is warm here. They will be a perfect weight for that. The beautiful blankets won't make you too hot but just be cozy feeling to use them. I hope to add a picture soon. They sure were worth the money. I think they should hold up well too. I am really glad that I bought them!

Gorgeous colors, lightweight yet keeps you warm
You never know exactly what colors you'll get, but if you are into color and the beautiful boho vibe of these kinds of quilts, you will get addicted to them. This pack was exceptionally beautiful, very vibrant colors that will be used all over my house. The structure of these quilts is basically 2 lightweight cotton fabrics sewed together; you might think that makes them cheap or not substantial in weight but that's not the case at all. They are perfect for covering up on the couch, on my bed I can use 2 over my regular quilt in the winter time and they are perfect, in summer I can use 1 on my bed over my bamboo sheets and the weight is also perfect. You can't go wrong with these except for one very important thing: there is a very strong odor from the packaging and/or the colors or the fact that they are supposed to be "vintage" - I always put mine outside first to air out, and then immediately wash and dry them. If I wash 4 at a time I use up to 3 "color catch" type of sheets, wash in cold water (here in Tucson our 'cold' water is often boiling hot in the summer) and then in the dryer on Casual setting with a couple of Bounce sheets. I'm super sensitive to odors and this batch to me was pretty bad, but this first wash & dry has diminished the odor about 90%, good enough for now. ;^)

Blanket color and quality.
Great colors. I wish they were multi colors, alot of orange. Big stain on one blanket.

Happy customer.
I was apprehensive to order these because of some of the bad reviews but I'm glad I did because they are soft and beautiful. I'm so tired of everything being made out of plastic...even clothing. These are 100%cotton and I'm all about repurposing and what a great way to recycle. Great as a throw but I may make a jacket from it...

Beautiful blankets
The blankets are beautiful. Well made and very colorful. But there were only 4. The description said 5 blankets.

imperfectly perfect!!!
i ordered these in february not sure what to expect..i had to wash them twice because of the odor...they are incredibly soft..the stitching is interesting, as are the patches and color combinations...when i had changed my winter bedding out for spring, we had a long snap and i grabbed one of these to throw on top of my light quilt..they are great as a throw or to cover furniture..i orginally thought i would use them as curtains, but decided to leave my cabin windows bare ..they would have been easy to turn into curtains...you don't get to select the colors...i have given two of them away because company liked them a lot...one friend slept under it on my blow up bed and wanted to know where i got it and so i let her take it on home..i wash them on a quick wash and throw them in the dryer...i am thinking about ordering another set since they are so versatile..

Hung them outside right away, they smell beautiful now.
I read some complaints that they smell and are a little moist and are thin (likely from folks who had no idea what they were ordering). Yes, it's true they smell because they had to be imported from countries with pests so they have to be fumigated (*note below)... Also they are moist because they come from a humid country and are packed in plastic so that they are one small consolidated block for shipping-remember to unpack immediately to let the moisture out... And yes they are thin, they are kantha quilts, quilts made in countries with extremely hot climates where you never need an actual quilt.. Isn't that the point. If you are looking for a perfect quilt these are not for you... These are handmade bohemian style where the art is in the imperfections. Anyway so yes they were slightly moist and smelly when I got them I hung them up on the line for 2 days, I just brought them in, they smell like sunshine, so delicious. I definitely would be very careful washing them in the washing machine you need to do it on your most gentle possible cycle because they're not made to be beat up. I attached pictures of mine I'm extremely happy they are very pretty and I am going to use them to bring in bold accent colors into my guest rooms. I'm so excited. ----------------------------- *NOTE : Why Fumigate imports?
