I washed my shower curtain and a ring came off, luckily I have this and replaced it, easy to use. The design wasn’t exactly the same as the other rings the curtain came with but who’s going to look that close? The design works just as well as the others with a good grip and wasn’t sharp when I touched it after I fixed the curtain. The finish is clean so I’d recommend it. Worked for what I needed it for.

This grommet tool works great, once I figured out how to use it, Amazon shipped this box alone and put their label covering up the instructions on the box & there were no instructions inside the box. It unfortunately does not come with a hole punch, but another set I had bought did come with one that worked for this size grommet. The grommets set easily with minimal force needed thanks to the grip of the tool.

Needed to add grommets to cover / tarp on a portable shed. Put a strip of duct tape front and back for additional strength. Loaded tool with grommet and backer, quick easy one squeeze. The grommet was set, clean punch through. Tool saved disassembling the cover and using a manual punch-set.

The grommet tool was good quality, as were the grommets. It was my inexperience that the grommets did not secure the fabric I was using. I need a grommet with a longer flange so that it could secure the fabric folded in two. Quick delivery.

If you follow the instructions (which are pretty simple) and get a tool that was assembled correctly (mine was), it's very easy to use. After reading the reviews, it seems that quality control is an issue, so if you get a bad one, return it for another one. Some reviewers are saying they didn't get enough washers but they're all there. It doesn't look like there are that many in the bag because they are very very thin. When you use them, be sure to look closely so you only put one in the tool. Before long, you'll grommetizing everything.

This is one of those products you should probably ignore both the 5 star and 1 star reviews. This grommet tool doesn't deserve 1 star if used as it should, which is for quick simple projects where longevity isn't critical. Any review that calls these high quality grommets should also be ignored as clearly those people have never used an actual high quality grommet. I bought this hoping to make a vinyl porch inclosure with stainless steel grommets. This won't work well for that at all. It doesn't fit the grommets and the included ones are too sharp and weak for that use. I think this is best for adding grommets to temporary cardboard signs and similar projects. PROS: Super fast and simple to use - much faster than standard grommet tools that require a hammer. CONS: Does not fit quality grommets like CS Osborne's Grommets included are cheap, sharp, and not suited to hanging plastic or vinyl Too expensive - this is a cheap Chinese tool and isn't really worth more than $25
