Q: Are these Le Creuset Mini Cocottes oven proof and microwave proof?

Yes. Be aware that these are rather lightweight stoneware, not enameled cast iron like the larger LeCreuset pieces. This is why they work in the microwave as well as in the oven. I also use them in a water bath in a larger pan on the stove top, but would not recommend using them on top of the stove without the bain marie. One of my lids broke far too easily the first time I used this set. (not temperature related breakage)

No, it is not. It's more like an unglazed pottery feel on the bottom, and grayish.
