Inexpensive, works well, made well!
This product works perfectly for my needs. I pair it in my morning ritual with a Bialetti Moka Express (3 cup version) to make the perfect cup of cappuccino or latte. This size is ideal for 1-3 cups of latte, but it froths so easily, you can buy this and easily make 4 cups in two separate rounds of frothing. I fill it about 1/4th of the way with whole milk and I have a nice froth in 10 pumps of the handle. I prefer less froth (more latte style than cappuccino style) so if you did 20-30 times, which would take you all of about 10 seconds, you'd have very frothy milk. A see a lot of reviews saying they couldn't get it to froth, but seems those reviewers were using something besides whole milk, so I can't vouch for anything other than what latte is supposed to have in it, whole cow's milk :) Cleans up easily as well. Note to those asking about heating your milk in this container on the stove --- It is not ideally suited to do that because the stainless steel is too thin to handle very much heat without scorching the milk at the bottom... HOWEVER.... I have a workaround if you want to heat and froth in the same container. While my Moka Express is heating on the stove top burner I place the frother next to the burner to slowly heat at the same time. I will occasionally place it on the burner next to the espresso maker, but always moving it on the heat source and for never more than 15 seconds at a time. I can tell when the milk has heated sufficiently when the outside of the frother is warm (not hot) to the touch, unless you prefer your milk much warmer. That's my two cents, hope this helps. BTW - I paid full price for this product so you can trust my opinion, even if you disagree :)

Love this frother! It works!
Love this product! Read a lot of reviews from different products and I settled on this one. Obviously works best with milk...almond milk is not as frothy but still thicker. It even works on non-fat milk. Really happy with this. Purchased it over a year ago.

GREAT GIZMO! Fabulous froth!
I received a Nespresso machine as a gift and I was looking for a milk frother so I could make lattes and cappuccinos. This gizmo is just what I was looking for. It is simple to use and makes sturdy long-lasting foam easily. I was contemplating buying an electric frother, but didn’t want yet another small appliance. My kitchen is small and countertop space is at a premium. This is attractive, well made and doesn’t take up much space at all, about the size of a small teapot. I heat the milk briefly in the microwave in the glass that I will be using for my espresso, and then pour it into the frother. After about 15 pumps it is ready. With the Nespresso and this frother, my latte or cappuccino is ready in about 25 seconds! I don’t find it at all noisy: it is not necessary to bang the plunger up and down completely to make good foam. Highly recommend! Terrific value!

NO LONGER THE SAME QUALITY AS SHOWN
Wow, this new version being sold is junk (see my video). I own two of these (bought in mid and late 2022) and the quality of materials / workmanship on the older versions is beautiful; both of the older frothers operate smoothly and are made from nice, heavy duty polished stainless steel. The older version is what is being shown in the photos here on Amazon, by the way - but this is certainly not what you receive when you order this item now. I was shocked when I ordered this frother as a gift for friend of mine (it's now mid 2025) and such a cheap / terrible item arrived. The new version is cheap feeling and poorly made by comparison to what is shown - it's unpolished and is clearly using much thinner stainless steel. You can see where they cut corners by making the handling thinner (narrower) and be changing the quality of the knob, etc. The worst part is they changed how the rod slides up and down and goes through the lid; the old version operates very smoothly and does a fantastic job at frothing milk. This new version is comically bad. The top just has a big hole now where the rod wobbles around in. This new version feels really cheap to me; it also has a nasty plastic/chemical smell to it. Overall operation is just terrible by comparison. Naturally, the photos on the Amazon listing show the previous higher quality version, not this cheap version Bellemain is selling now. Back to the Amazon jungle it goes...

Quality throther
Simple , shick and functional For weeks , I struggled with making high quality lattes at home. Then I saw that my main issue was my built in throther on the expresso maker that I purchased. Instead of returning the entire machine, I wondered what else I could do. I saw this product advertised and it was a simple answer to my prayer. With its help, I was able to make a high quality latte with Almond milk and regular dairy. I love it!!! I do have to warm the milk seperately but the throth is thick and creamy and it lasts even as the latte is finished. I love this product and am finally able to make use of a defective expresso maker.

Disappointed
I wanted to like this product. I tried using this manual frothing container since I use a frother daily and the batteries run out too soon. I gave it a good try with skim milk, regular milk, and half and half (my preferred creamer). I warmed all of the milks and creams before trying the frother. I tried using it with cold milks and half and half. No luck. Didn't froth up. The item is very nicely made and of good quality. It looks nice on my kitchen counter next to my stainless steel refrigerator. I didn't bother to return it, I keep hoping I will see a write up on line showing me how to properly get a good dense froth.

I really like lattes. I'd been buying them almost every day at work, and was rapidly going broke. So I started looking up on how to make your own and in among the various fancy machines that can make a latte, I saw a highly rated review for the Bellmain Hand Frother. So I took a chance, and wow does this little device deliver. You put in some milk, pump it a number of times (I usually go for 60, which sounds like a lot but is really just a few seconds of pumping), and the milk froths up really nice. So now I'm making my own delicious London Fogs. This device is portable and needs no electricity. It is a bit noisy when you're pumping, so you don't want to use it in the middle of a crowded workspace. (Unless you make lattes for everybody, then it would probably be fine.) I just rinse it out when I'm done and it's ready to go again the next day. I've been using mine for almost 3 years now, pretty much daily, with no defects or damage to the device.

I'm not a fan of microplastics and I bought this hoping it would be all metal but it has a plastic component. The forther itself is built nicely but it's not what I was after

Mas pequeña de lo que parece, pero escelente y muy bonita.

My girlfriend and I both usually prefer a Bodum-style glass frother, but after breaking a couple, I bought this for her to be able to pack in suitcases and I'm so happy I did. There's no fear of it shattering during transit and it foams milk just fine. The very few attachable/plastic parts seem built solidly enough but even if they don't last forever, the stainless steel pitcher will be useful for a lifetime, so this feels like a very worthwhile upgrade.
