This is a totally genuine review. I bought this chair myself and I’ll be getting more soon. I’m excited to have finally found a truly plus size friendly outdoor chair that is functional, comfortable and looks awesome! I’ve been using this product daily for about three weeks and the following is my experience with and opinions on this chair. I was looking for a simple replacement for a standard collapsible chair and my only requirement was a weight limit that would work for my size. I’m 5’11” and 280 pounds so I feel like I’m definitely capable of commenting on the comfort and stability of different seating options. My main concern as someone with wide hips was the possibility that it would be too narrow to relax and hang out in. This is definitely not the case with this chair! Its hard to explain without video, but it’s sizable and roomy without bordering on being a loveseat. As I type this review, I’m sat sideways with my back on one arm rest and my feet tucked near the other. You can really sink into this chair on account of it’s size as well as the comfy padded material. I have fallen asleep on my patio more than once! I was initially impressed by the lush quilted-like upholstery. The best way I can describe it is like denim, soft but durable. In the picture I posted you can see how heavy duty the stitching is, as well as the difference between the standard heavy fabric on the bottom and sides versus the softer fabric that comprises the seat and backrest. It looks great as a waterproof/outdoor option, but I would definitely buy this again in black and toss a throw pillow on it for some cheap, comfy bedroom seating. If I had a complaint, it would be the lack of cupholders. There is one mesh pocket that can hold something like a small bottle of water. But truly, as much as I would appreciate the convenience of cupholders, they would ruin the simple, modern aesthetic of the chair. So, this is less of a complaint and more of a preference issue. While on the matter of preferences, I will say that this chair is rather heavy to be toting around for extended periods, so I don’t see it as something I would pack for hiking or camping. With that said, I would still carry this down to the beach or to a game, and the included travel bag with long straps makes that even easier. In summary… I LOVE THIS FREAKIN CHAIR!!! I need a couple more for the whole family. We’re going to be comfy by the fire for fat girl fall lol. Seriously though, for those who struggle with the embarrassment of flimsy plastic chairs possibly giving out or unsightly indentations on your thighs from the $20 Academy chairs… try this chair! I am thoroughly impressed, so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Plus size tested and approved :)))

There was one review that showed the fabric was thick & surprisingly well cushioned and stitched really sturdy and that she could sit sideways with her legs up and she’s a plus sized woman! That’s what made me buy it because those are exactly the things I was looking for after trying one very similar at an overpriced local camping store a couple years ago, ever since I’ve searched to no avail, that is until I came across this fabulous chair and that lady’s fab very detailed review with pics!! And so I ordered it and it came on time and well packaged, nice carry bag and was already fully assembled and it opened up to prove SURE WAS TOTALLY CORRECT IN HER REVIEW!! it is exactly what I wanted down to every aspect!! In so impressed at the fabulous high quality material, triple stitching and super comfy cushioning that I can tell will last for many years to come! I am 5 ft 5 inches and I weigh a fluffy 270lbs and I even have enough room to sit sideways and curl up and sleep in this amazing comfy chair!! Even my very tall 9 yr old or my 6 yr old can climb into the chair with me comfortably! That’s a huge deal to me! It’s super sturdy and DOESN'T feel wiggly or wobbly at all when I get in or out of it! And I kind of sit down as bit heavily due to my robust backend lol! And I am not one bit concerned about the chair holding up! If your looking for the perfect comfy camp or lounge chair this is the one you must buy!!! I even use it indoors in my elder daughters room for tea time! that’s how comfy it is! You can even Grab a pillow and Blankie and pop in a movie And drift soundly to sleep in this chair! Gonna use it tonight in our new outdoor living room with projector screen and table top for in a can lol I’m setting up with a portable diy hot tub using my base camp on demand portable water heater and portable pop up single person tone bath tub!! It’s gonna be epic back yard retreat for under $500!!! Enjoy your chair!!

I'm not into lugging around heavy furniture and this lightweight beauty does the trick. Easy to move yet comfy AF. Thicker and roomier than the usual camping chair, this one's got extra padding for big butts like mine.

I'm a big woman and this chair seat is more than wide enough to be comfortable. It is extremely sturdy and it has the weight to prove it. There's nothing dainty about this chair. It is already nicely padded but I do place a thick chair cushion in the bottom because like most chairs of this shape it is a 'butt bucket' and a tiny bit difficult for an older person to climb out of without the cushion. It is a little difficult to wrangle back into the sturdy carry case. I intend to buy a Velcro strap to bind to seat end tighter to make packing easier. I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

Great for cold weather. A little heavy carry but great to snuggle down in.

Cozy outdoor “couch.” I have a bad back and need comfort. I can sit in this all day pain free. My last one lasted almost 10 years.

First off, I need to say that I am 'cheap' I never like to pay high prices and this chair seemed very high in price. The night I ordered it, I got major buyers remorse. Then I sat in it. The remorse is gone! I have sciatica and work flea markets. It has been hard on me to sit in the standard folding chairs. This one is amazing and worth every penny. I have relatives and friends stop by my booth and all of them want to use my chair rather than the few I have for guests. Go figure. :) It does come with a great cover but I just fold it and keep in the back seat of my truck. To fold it, I find it easiest to stand behind it, lean over and grab the ends of the arms. Keeping the back pivot against your torso, just lift and it's done. I really do recommend this chair. Very comfortable.

Padding and the wind breaking shape of the chair fantastic. It's winter and I sat out for hours around a campfire, with wind at my back. I was able to curl up in the chair and its nice club chair shape and height of the back kept the harsh cold Canadian winter winds at bay. Incredibly comfortable as far as an outdoor camping chair goes. Not once did I feel stiff or sore - and I spent a couple days straight in it this weekend. Fabric is thick, nice stitching, stiff folding but that's because of padding and it's so new. I do not regret this purchase and I had researched chairs for a long time before choosing this one. Would buy again in a heartbeat. It's a different sitting experience than any other camping chair I have used.

Someone else had this chair and it was so comfy that I bought one. Tad pricey though. I like that it’s also padded on the bottom as other chairs in this style aren’t and will add more warmth on those cooler camping days. Very sturdy as well.

Très confortables et elles semblent être robustes. Nous pesons chacun plus de 275 livres et pour une fois, elles sont être de construction solides. En plus, le fait qu'elles soient rembourrées, nous sommes beaucoup plus au chaud sur le bord du feu lorsqu'il fait plus froid. Le sac de transport est très pratique même si elles sont assez grosses et lourdes à transporter.

We've been searching awhile to purchase some comfortable chairs for, shall we say, people a little larger than average. Comfort, when sitting outside is as important as comfort sitting inside. Both my husband and I, ( as well as the cat! ) are greatly impressed with these chairs. I highly recommend these chairs to people wanting to enjoy their outdoor adventures in complete comfort. I really don't think you'll be sorry!!
