The Key to the Tarot: The Official Companion to the World Famous Original Rider Waite Tarot Deck

This book helped me understand the tarot cards better than any other book I’ve read. He describe moon card so we’ll and paints the picture. He describes the cards scenarios and goes I deep with some. Other cards he sometimes gives gauge explanations, it’s good but not EVERY entry will enlighten you haha It’s funny to me. After I read some of the messages and blurbs I think to myself, “Well, that was a whole lot of nothing!” Haha but the next one I read he goes deep into it.

Beautiful book! An awesome addition to my library!

This book comes in different printings. This hardcover is a beautiful addition to my Tarot library.

It’s a great resource book… but it has no pictures of the cards and the descriptions of the cards are not formatted well in the book and bleed onto the next page or share the same page with another card. Very confusing when you try to use it as a reference guide.

I think this book is well done and beautifully made for a good price. For those wanting pictures and more modern descriptions of the tarot look elsewhere. This book is exactly what it says it is. A modern reprint of the book by Arthur Edward Waite in hard cover with nice images on the front or back.. Only tiny quibble (which is true for most books these days) is getting so tired of having beautiful books marred by the need for huge computer scanning price images on the back.

I bought this on Kindle. It has been a great idea. Being able to highlight areas, searching for certain references, so helpful! Not a bad investment for a new owner of a Rider Waite Tarot deck.
