THE PERFECT SLICKER 👍
Absolutely love it! It arrived this morning in the pouring rain. I went out in a complete down pour and remained completely dry but not overly warm or sticky. I can see very well with the hood on. I am only 5 feet 4 inches tall so it is a little long, but it will keep my longer dresses dry. This is just the rain slicker I was looking for. The pockets are nice and deep and the sleeves snap so my arms stay dry. The soft corduroy collar that touches the neck is just right. If you are looking for an updated good ole fashion slicker this is it! It even comes with a pouch to store it in.

Coleman Industrial PVC Raincoat
Product seems to be made fairly well, but cardboard band around the coat describes it as having a zipper as well as buttons up the front, but there is no zipper. Also, I had to let it set out in the garage for a week in order to get rid of most of the very strong PVC smell. Otherwise, this product is adequate for the relatively low price and much better than my old cheap plastic raincoat. I haven't tried it out yet in the rain, so I don't know if it will be overly hot inside.

Soooo heavy!
These raincoats work! I got one for me and one for my husband. They kept us dry during activities in Niagara Falls. I bought them after my husband complained about the wimpy ponchos I bought for our last vacation. The ponchos didn't keep us very dry, but these raincoats met his expectations. The drawback is that these are bulky and heavy. This is not a raincoat that you want to carry in your purse just in case it rains. For one thing, it is too large to fit in most purses, and for another, it is quite heavy and tiring to carry. It's a great coat if you know for a fact that you will be in the rain, but it doesn't match a poncho for portability.

Excellent
This raincoat exceeded my expectations. Well constructed, bright, long, sturdy, fun, it's a great buy. I bought it to walk in the heavy Oregon rain on my lunch hours to take pictures and get exercise. It doesn't get a drop of rain on me anywhere, even down my pants legs and the big pockets hold my cell phone, extra camera batteries, wallet, etc. I highly recommend this quality item, I like it a lot.

I opened the package containing this raincoat and the stench ...
I opened the package containing this raincoat and the stench of the same chemical used to make mothballs nearly knocked me down. I guess the chemical is used to finish the rubber and poly-whatever. Anyway, I've washed the raincoat in detergent and cold water and it's hanging out in the sun as I type. I'm sure when the stink wears down, I'll be able to use it. I'm not unhappy, just a little freaked.

Great product
This is just what I was looking for. It is heavy enough to not blow around in the wind but light enough to not make me sweat in mild temperatures. I am 6' and 250lbs and ordered XL which is loose enough to allow me to move around without binding and also allows room for a jacket underneath when necessary. The only thing I don't like is the drawstring hood and the buttons. Would prefer snaps for the hood and zipper for the coat.

Failed first time.
This raincoat ripped around both arms on the first wear. I duct taped it and it held up for about another 20 wears. That's why I gave it 2 stars. Will not buy again. Also, I'm 6'1" 190lbs and I got a XL. The raincoat was kinda baggy. I probably could fit into a L, but that would put more stress on the arm joints. Also the jacket went down about 2-3 inches pass my knees.

It is exactly what a light rain coat should be.
Keeps the rain out, what more is there? Here in WA we get rain, a lot of rain, and I use this to walk the dog. It has seen some heavy downpours and kept me dry.It isn't built or priced like a serious working raincoat would be but it hasn't ripped at the seams or anything dramatic so far.For the price I am satisfied.
