The lights are really pretty and what I expected. They arrived with a remote control each, but neither works. Changed the battery, as the instructions have a disclaimer, stating if they don't work, try changing the battery (clearly they know these things are ca problem). The battery came out of another remote control that IS working so I knew that wasn't faulty.I tried contacting the seller direct to advise them of this,rather than leave a negative review, (as per the card in the box) but they asked me to "send a video". Ridiculous, send a video of a remote control not working? Are they going to tell me I'm pressing it wrong?Too close to Christmas to want the faff of returning them so I'll just have to keep the lights now and use them without remote control.These are just tacky little bits of plastic, which are now going to go straight to landfill sadly, they may as well not include them if they are going to be this useless.

AT FIRST WE WERE REALLY PLEASED WITH THEM. THEY WERE PUT INTO TWO VASES ONLY ON FOR 4 HOURS A NIGHT, AT FIRST THEY LOOKED GOOD BUT AFTER TWO WEEKS THEY HAVE FADED AND ONE SET DOES NOT WORK NOW AS IT LOOKS LIKE THE BATTERY NEEDS REPLACING. THEY HAVE GONE FROM BEING VERY BRIGHT TO DIM IN A FEW DAYS.

Looked great at first but no good for outdoors as put them in metal laser cut globes when the bulbs went and they did look great but the switches rusted into place even when wrapped in cling film fo protection.

Bought to decorate two artificial plants inside two old rusty lanterns I painted white. Just the right size for the job with lovely fine wire with a very small, discreet battery controller. Very good item, arrived promptly and well packaged in a small padded envelope.

I have ordered some lanterns recently which did not work, and whilst the seller did not want the items returned, i took the battery operated bulb system out and replaced it with these LED fairy lights. It' brilliant the lantern gives off much more light than it would have with the bulb and looks much nicer with the fairy lights.

Really nice effect and although good value for money one set ran out of battery life within a week. Another set has lasted longer. Yet to see how the others go. Bought 2 packs of 2. Takes two small flat round batteries.

I've recently moved and had some small empty jars that begged to be used, so I've popped in these lights and it looks great, especially on my mantlepiece. They are very bright and you can't see the battery compartment when they are switched on. Will definitely buy some more when I require them.

No remote with my version. Hard to unwind and managed to tangle up. One of the strings stopped, loose wire perhaps .. maybe due to me untangling. Nice and bright and long with lots of lights.
