Pleased to receive.
So pleased to receive this. My dad was trying to get his violin ready to use again and we received these and suddenly my dad passed away so we haven’t used it. Maybe someday.

Fell apart during orchestra class... teacher made it her topic of the hour
Middle School is tough... you're already uncool if you're in orchestra. Then add a cheap, faulty, poorly hot glued bow into a room FILLED with poorly played expensive stringed instruments. The LAST thing you want to happen at this awkward stage of development is to gain any unwanted attention. That is EXACTLY what this bow did for my daughter. She said the teacher looked at her bow and lectured about the importance of buying quality bows. She specifically gave a word of warning to "not buy cheap bows from Amazon, and especially don't buy if they are made in China." My 6th grader said the lecture was "cringe" and she wasn't "capping". She totally blamed me for buying a cheap bow that caused her this attention. Then she crued and said, "can you fix it? You have a hot glue gun". Even though its cheap, it looks expensive and I don't want to ruin it... It's still on my "to do" list. Hope this helps.

good quality--moderate price
First bow arrived broken, (I think poor packaging.) It was replaced almost immediately, unbroken, with no questions. (Same packaging.) ??? Good transaction; would recommend.

Poor quality construction. Had to return.
Sad to say, I was very disappointed in the quality of this bow, and had to return it. Even though the packaging was undamaged, the bow, when it arrived, had some broken hairs; It was also very thinly strung, the number of hairs sparse; and it was so unevenly strung, that it was impossible to tension it properly for playing.
