This is a Great Basic Dress!
I need one in every color! Background on me. I am 5’4”, hourglass figure, a fit 136 lbs, 35” bust, 26” waist, 38” hips. I ordered a small and fits perfectly. Not too tight or too loose. I would recommend this dress in every color as a basic. It does need at least a slim belt and unique shoes to break it up and looks so polished with just a few touches. Also, this dress is well priced but I would recommend it regardless of price. One thing to be aware of. The different colors come in different fabrics. The first dress I got was the dark navy and it is a perfect mix cotton, nylon and spandex. The dress is not lined but the fabric is thick enough to not see body imperfections and undergarment lines and stretches where you need it (bust, hips). Then I needed a pink one for the Barbie movie (got deep rose) and the peacock one to pair with some new Freebird shoes I got that are a unique color. Those two colors came in the polyester fabric. I was surprised when I opened the package. It’s buried vaguely in the description if you change your color choice and the scroll down to read about the fabric for each one. The fit is still good but I like that polyester fabric less as it shows more line and imperfections. For the basic colors (black, red, white, Navy, grey, light pink, etc) they all come in the nice cotton blend. I’m going to buy every last one. I dress up a lot and like to have options. Different belts, different jackets, different shoes all make them look different. The dress hits right above my knees. I didn’t buy any of the pattern dresses, but they are made of just cotton according to the description. I don’t care for the polyester ones and won’t be buying more of those colors.

ITS AMAZING!!!!
Oh my god yall. Ignore my bare feet and just look at how nice this makes my figure look. I was so excited I had to take a pic right away. I have a very slim body and don’t have the nice curvy hips some ladies do :):) but this is the most perfect flattering cut with the material being thick or structured enough to kind of create that hourglass illusion. The print is GORGEOUS and so unique and cool. I haven’t taken it off since trying it on an hour ago bc it’s so comfortable and is making me so happy lol. The neckline is also so unique and cool looking. It is seriously the kind of one garment you can put on to immediately look put together, polished, attractive but also could be worn to the office or with like, combat type boots for an edgy look. I am in love! I am 5’7 120 lbs 34C-D and I got the Small. It’s also enough stretch to fit my chest too which is great bc I’m bigger there than below and it makes everything look evened out!! Ahhhh!! Now I have to look at the other colors/ but nothing compares to this pattern with the vibrant reds blacks tropical artsy vibe. GET IT.

Immensely please with two of the three dresses I purchased in this style
This is the third dress I’ve bought in this style. The Frida is stunning and nearly fits like a glove, the green wasn’t as vibrant but the quality of fabric was good. The blue was not as vibrant as in the picture. Rather than a dark royal blue as seen online, it was a navy blue (as stated in the profile). Fabric may have been damaged by heat/ ironing, so the texture of the blue dress varied depending on the angle of the light. I imagine it’s a fluke. I’m returning the blue, but am delighted with the others. The fabric wrinkles when wet or steamed, so I’ll have to try ironing inside out on low so as not to melt/ damage the synthetic fabric. The Frida pattern doesn’t show the wrinkles very much. The fabric is very stretchy, and sturdy. With solid seams. The cut is immensely flattering. I have small breast (36A/B) so a slightly padded bra is needed for the XL, but my waste and hips fit light a glove. (42 bust, 35 waste, 45 hips) I highly recommend this dress.

Getting it tailored
The dress is beautiful, but definitely not an investment piece. The material feels like cheap upholstery and has absolutely no stretch in it. I think the dress is priced appropriately. I ordered a size medium and a size large in the black/red print with the lady on it. The dress is stunning in person, and both sizes fit exactly as I expected. I'm 5'5 185ish lbs with an "athletic" (flat tummy, modest breast size, and curvy hips/bottom) Large: fit my lower half well enough. It was a little too tight on my hips, but was manageable. (Going up a size would leave too much room). The top was quite loose. My chest was still covered and the neckline is high and fitted enough to not worry about exposure if you bent over... but was definitely roomy enough to let insecurity sneak and settle in... especially if your already self-conscious about that area of your body) Medium: fit around my tush snugglely and my chest perfectly. The medium looked amazing on... But, it was only good for standing. As soon as I started walking, the skirt would start to ride up. The large looked nice enough. I just didn't feel sexy in it because of the chest area. If the material was better quality, I'd order an extra-large and get it tailored down to fit me perfectly. TLDR: Medium was too small, large was too big; and my size is somewhere between. The material DOES NOT stretch. The material also feel like cheap upholstery fabric.

No stretch if you have broad shoulders and large breast
I really wanted to keep this dress but it was to small. I have very broad shoulders and I'm a 36H chest and I couldn't even zip it up. There is no stretch in this dress. I went with the recommended size but it didn't work. I would probably have to size up to a 3xl. It fit fine in the waist.

Good quality. The fit is fine, I am petite, and the top is just a little loose.
