Great gift
My son wanted this for Christmas and even though he already had tons of trains and train tracks we decided to get it. It’s very well made and we loved it. He was so happy.

Great set for toddlers
Michael, my 19 month old son, had a blast with this Metro set. We both love the station door the most. You can open and close it with the turning knob on top. The set comes with 1 station, 1 tunnel, 1 metro + 2 carriages, 2 figures, 1 luggage piece and, 1 ticket booth piece, 1 metro map couple of tracks. It is kid-powered metro but it has very cool light and sound. When you look at it coming out of the tunnel, it looks so cool, even I love looking at that. The metro comes with batteries so it's ready to play with. The material of this set is super nice, not cheap plastic. It's very detail. The tracks is easy to put together. It's not too hard to click so my toddler can put it together himself. The provided tracks is only enough for a very small circle track. Good news is it's compatible with all the wooden railway tracks in the market. They even give 1 nice switch and 1 stop which is very nice to have if you want to build more complicated tracks than a circle. It's definitely a great adds on set to your kids' train collection. If you want to see the set in real action and how fun it is when expanding to a bigger tracks, go to youtube and search for "Michael Choo Choo Trains Brio Metro".

Great train accessory!
Grandson plays for hours with his trains and this was the perfect new accessory. So well made and can handle the hard play of almost 3 yr. old. Very similar to what a real metro station is like.

Brio subway
Cute train set. Gives you impression of going and being at the train station platform, along with riding thru a tunnel. The little train lites up and make 5 second noise of the engine warming up. Its a bit pricey, but great gift.

Good little train set or add on to other sets
Its a good toy set it's a little pricey but so isn't just about everything else nowadays. Honestly its durability is good. Nothing bad to say about it.

A cute realistic train set for my kids fairy town
I purchased this train set on Amazon prime day for my kids my three year old pointed to its picture and wanted it. When I clicked on the listing and saw the video commercial it looked like the train moved by itself but it does not. When it came I thought it was defective and I almost sent it back. But after googling and reading more I learned it only makes sounds and lights up. So this is a nice set but it does not move without being pushed. The plastic used for this set seems Unbreakable to my rough preschoolers. Nothing has cracked after being banged around. The ticket booth, map, and Amtrak waiting station are so cute and realistic my son says this is a real bus station for his fairy dolls. I have bought cheaper train sets but they were made with cheap plastic that broke. The people it comes with look similar to playmobile figures and they are sturdy. The wooden tracks are compatible with and sturdy like Thomas the train. Each track is labeled brio which is nice so it won't get mixed up with other sets. I like to keep this set separate because it looks like a real tiny people town. I plan on adding more brio sets to this one. So far I have not had to replace the small circle batteries yet but sometimes when the train is put back in the box it will turn on by itself it would have been nice to have a better on/off button. Their is a cute red knob to make the stations doors open by itself. The train is easy for my three year old son to push through the tunnel with one push so it really does look like it's moving by itself. The top of the train lifts up for the people to go into the train. My son likes to pretend that they are little hobos sneaking on and hitching a ride so this set has encouraged his creativity.

Brio is awesome!!
When friends come over and see this metro set they are all impressed. The quality is excellent and I love the features - right down to the little briefcase/luggage and the metro map and ticket station. It's great because it also connects to Thomas, etc. but you can see a clear quality difference. I wish we had all Brio trains but they've been more difficult to find up until now.

Todo un acierto y en oferta mucho mejor

Pas de lumière ni de bruitage car les piles fournies sont plates. Très déçue vu le prix élevé de cette marque de train en bois pour un métro Brio comprenant peu de pièces !

As always with Brio products, this demands a high price tag - but that’s due to its high quality and durability - which then provides ‘value for money’ As a stand alone set it’s enough to keep the youngest ones entertained, but I’m guessing this is probably an add on to your existing set, which will add another level of play ideas. Firstly - the bad (ish) points: -It’s not motorised as promo videos would have you believe - yes it uses batteries, but that’s just for the sound and light functions that operate when you push it along (or use a motorised train to push from behind). I don’t see this a huge negative, as it will obviously require interaction with your child (or yourself), rather than them watching a motorised train going around the track by itself. But just be warned that the promo videos and videos on popular video based websites may have you believe it is a fully motorised train. - When delivered the product was clearly visible, so if it’s a gift for a child - maybe best they aren’t around when it gets delivered. Again, this isn’t exactly a downside - it’s great for the environment as it’s one less cardboard box for recycling, but I suppose it’s just a little warning in case your little one is around. So far our three year old is more interested in the trains and track rather than the play features offered by the platform (such as opening and closing doors, and having people wait on the platform). But I’m sure as ages a little, these additional features will provide an extra stimulus. As with the vast majority of Brio branded toys, this is a great little set, it would be good as a starter set, and it’s really good as an expansion set, and going on past reputation - I’m sure it will last for years to come.
