Although I was surprised to find the color was so much lighter in person (I’d say the actual color compared to the photo is a very light beige,a sand color) these wooden spacers have added a nice accent to my jewelry pieces. Some of them I actually painted with a darker brown permanent nontoxic acrylic paint so that they matched my designs which worked well-for sure colors can be altered so it’s all good!The value too is worth mention-so many for such a decent price,a bargain! Really nice beads at a great price. I bought these to do a jewelry project at my daughter's 8th birthday party, and the resulting bracelets were a hit. So pretty! The 1mm Magic Stretch cord worked perfectly with these beads - not too thin for the girls to handle, and not too thick for the holes in the beads. My only complaint with these beads is that the holes in about 15% of the beads were clogged with splinters/sawdust. We were still able to use them by poking a toothpick through to clear the hole, but it was slightly annoying.

Love the feel of these beads, but had to push a stick through all the beads to get the wooden pieces out of the hole, besides that they are great

These beads are great! They have a nice sheen to them and are easy to work with. I've been through about half the bag and have only found four that weren't drilled all the way through. It would probably be fairly easy to poke a hole through with a needle and use them in a pinch. The only con I've noticed is that they're hard, (but certainly not impossible) to use with with nylon beading string. The insides of the beads are rough and snag.

Great buy. I found that a lot of the holes were clogged probably from when being drilled, but if you take a toothpick they fit perfectly inside of the hole to open them up without effort. Definitely a pain as I would rather have pre-hold beads 100% but it was worth it anyway

I love the look of the beads but you literally have to open the holes on nearly every one of the beads. And that is very time consuming and frustrating. If you like your work to take longer than it needs to, these are for you! But seriously, they are very pretty.

These beads have definite wood grain character! A soft satin glaze finish. You will definitely need a bead reamer to make smooth holes, so a little prep work involved, but well worth it. I've been looking a long time for nice looking wood grained beads, at a reasonable price. I'm so happy I found these!!!
